Anolon sells more lines than most people can keep straight, and the names don’t tell you much. Accolade, Ascend, Advanced Home, X and EverLast are quite different pans with different limits, and two of them have no coating at all.
This guide is for someone who has already chosen the brand and needs to choose the line. We say which model suits which cook, what independent reviewers found where we could read them, and where the brand falls short and what to look at instead.

Quick verdict: which Anolon line to buy
Buy Accolade if you want plain nonstick with a high oven limit and a dishwasher. Choose Ascend for a whole set. Choose Anolon X if searing matters more than eggs, and EverLast N2 if you are done with coatings.

Our picks for the best anolon cookware
Independent reviews of Anolon are uneven. We could read a test from Reviewed and two articles from Prudent Reviews, which earns fees from links as we do. The Anolon X has real test results, and Prudent Reviews compares many lines by specification. The newer lines rest on their listings. Anolon’s listings name Meyer Corporation as the manufacturer.

1. Anolon Accolade 12-Inch Deep Frying Pan – The Most Complete Nonstick Line

If you want one Anolon nonstick piece and aren’t sure which line, start here. Accolade pairs a forged hard-anodized body with a thick stainless steel base that runs edge to edge, and that base is why it works on induction. The listing calls the finish triple-layer nonstick and says it is dishwasher safe, with flush rivets that leave a smooth surface. It also says oven safe to 500°F, and the same figures appear for this line in Prudent Reviews’ comparison of Anolon collections.
This is the deep 12-inch pan, with a helper handle and a lid, so it covers frying, braising and one-pan dinners. The listing’s line about lasting 16 times longer than the competition is the maker’s own, and we give it no weight. We didn’t find an independent test of the Accolade line, so it is first here because of its specs, not because a reviewer ranked it first. It rests on those details and Prudent Reviews’ table.
It carries a limited lifetime warranty and was sold by Amazon when we checked.
Why we like it
- Stainless base works on induction
- Oven safe to 500°F, per the listing
- Dishwasher safe, per the listing
- Flush rivets on the cooking surface
Key specifications
| Model | 81122 |
|---|---|
| Line | Accolade |
| Piece | 12-inch deep pan with lid |
| Cooking surface | Triple-layer nonstick |
| Induction | Yes |
| Oven limit | 500°F |
| Dishwasher | Yes |
| Warranty | Limited lifetime |
Why we recommend it
It suits a cook who wants nonstick for most jobs, uses any kind of stove and doesn’t want to hand-wash.
Skip it if you sear hard every night. A coating won’t take that for long, so look at the EverLast N2.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Works on every stove
- Higher oven limit than Advanced Home
- Helper handle and lid
Cons
- No independent test we could read
- Coating wears over time
- Marketing claims outrun the evidence
2. Anolon Ascend 10-Piece Set – A Full Set for Every Stove

Ascend is the line for someone buying everything at once. The set includes 1.5-quart and 3-quart saucepans with lids, an 8-quart stockpot with lid, a 3.5-quart saute pan with lid, and 8.25-inch and 10-inch frying pans. That covers most weeknights, though there is no 12-inch pan, so a big family may want to add one.
The body is hard-anodized with a thick stainless base for induction, and the title says dishwasher and oven safe. Oven limits are 500°F for the pans and 350°F with lids. Anolon says the surface is designed to keep oil in the middle, directly under food. That is the maker’s description, and we have no independent test of it.
Prudent Reviews’ comparison of Anolon lines doesn’t cover Ascend, so this rests on the listing alone. The listing doesn’t state a warranty, though Prudent Reviews says all Anolon cookware has a lifetime warranty. It was sold by Amazon when we checked.
Why we like it
- Six pans and four lids
- Works on induction
- Dishwasher safe, per the title
- Two-tone handles Anolon calls stay-cool
Key specifications

Why we recommend it
It suits someone setting up a kitchen who has decided on Anolon and wants one box.
Skip it if you only need a pan or two. Our picks of single pieces will serve you better than a set with pots you won’t use.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Covers most jobs
- Any stove
- Same line across the set
Cons
- No 12-inch pan
- Newer line with no independent test we read
- Lid limit is lower than the pan limit
3. Anolon X Hybrid 3-Piece Skillet Set – Sears Well, Releases Less Well

Anolon X is the only line here with independent tests we could read, and they are mixed in useful ways. It sets a stainless steel mesh into the nonstick so oil stays in the center and the food browns. Reviewed tested the 12-inch pan and reported strong searing and even browning with no obvious hot spots. It also reported that a fried egg broke apart and left residue even with butter, and it listed “not very nonstick” as a con.
Prudent Reviews reached a similar view. It measured fast heating, said eggs needed nudging to come loose, and noted that heat retention is below average. It also warned that the nonstick walls outside the mesh are exposed, and said it found a gap between the steel induction plate and the base, which it says didn’t affect performance. Its conclusion was that HexClad is the stronger hybrid pan, at a higher cost.
So buy Anolon X for searing and easy cleanup, not for eggs with little fat. The listing says these pans are metal utensil safe and oven safe to 500°F. Prudent Reviews says not to use the broiler. They have a limited lifetime warranty and were sold by Amazon when we checked.
Why we like it
- Strong searing in Reviewed’s report
- Fast heating in Prudent Reviews’ measurement
- Three sizes in one set
- Works on induction
Key specifications
| Model | 09475 |
|---|---|
| Line | X (hybrid) |
| Piece | 8, 10 and 12-inch pans |
| Cooking surface | Nonstick with stainless mesh |
| Induction | Yes |
| Oven limit | 500°F, no broiler per Prudent Reviews |
| Dishwasher | Yes |
| Warranty | Limited lifetime |
Why we recommend it
It suits a cook who wants more browning than a normal nonstick gives, and who will use a little fat.
Skip it if eggs are the main thing you cook. Both reviews found it weak there, and Reviewed points to the GreenPan Valencia Pro for nonstick work.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Searing backed by read reviews
- Three useful sizes
- Any stove
Cons
- Food can stick without fat
- Walls outside the mesh can scratch, per Prudent Reviews
- Holds heat less well, per Prudent Reviews

4. Anolon Advanced Home 12-Inch Ultimate Pan – Sloped Sides and a Helper Handle

Advanced Home is the softer-handled line, with Anolon’s rubber-over-steel SureGrip handles. Prudent Reviews, which isn’t a fan of the seam on those handles, also found them more comfortable than the stainless ones on Anolon X. This 12-inch Ultimate Pan has sloped sides and a rounded base for tossing and sauce making, a helper handle and a lid.
The limits are the thing to watch. The title says oven safe to 400°F, and Prudent Reviews lists Advanced Home at 400°F and not dishwasher safe. That lower heat limit and hand washing are the difference between this and Accolade. Prudent Reviews also lists this line as induction-ready, but this listing doesn’t say so, so check before you rely on it.
Anolon says the hard-anodized build is twice as hard as stainless steel, and that is the maker’s figure. It rests on the listing and that comparison. It was sold by Amazon when we checked.
Why we like it
- Sloped sides for tossing, per the listing
- Helper handle and lid
- Softer grip
- Hard-anodized body
Key specifications
| Model | 81201 |
|---|---|
| Line | Advanced Home |
| Piece | 12-inch pan with lid |
| Cooking surface | Nonstick |
| Induction | Not stated on this listing |
| Oven limit | 400°F |
| Dishwasher | No, per Prudent Reviews |
| Warranty | Not stated on this listing |
Why we recommend it
It suits a cook who stirs and tosses a lot, prefers a softer handle and doesn’t mind washing by hand.
Skip it if you want to finish dishes in a hot oven. Accolade and Anolon X go to 500°F.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Good shape for sauces
- Comfortable grip
- Comes with a lid
Cons
- Lower oven limit
- Hand wash
- Induction not stated on this listing
5. Anolon EverLast N2 10-Inch Carbon Steel Pan – No Coating, Very High Heat

This is a very different pan from the rest of Anolon’s range. It is carbon steel with a nitriding treatment, and Anolon says that makes it rust-resistant and metal-utensil safe, with no seasoning required. The listing gives a heat limit of 1,000°F and says it is half the weight of cast iron, and it works on induction.
The surface has no coating to wear out, which answers the main complaint about Anolon’s nonstick lines. But Anolon also says to cook with oil or butter and to preheat on low to medium, so this isn’t a slick pan that forgives everything, and carbon steel takes a little learning, in our view. The listing says to wash with soap and water. It doesn’t state dishwasher use.
It is a newer line, and we didn’t find a review of it we could read. It rests on the listing. Our best carbon steel pan guide covers more established makers if you want to compare. It was sold by Amazon when we checked.
Why we like it
- No coating to wear out
- Works on induction
- Listed to 1,000°F
- No seasoning needed, per Anolon
Key specifications
| Model | 54311 |
|---|---|
| Line | EverLast N2 |
| Piece | 10-inch pan |
| Cooking surface | Nitrided carbon steel |
| Induction | Yes |
| Oven limit | 1,000°F per the listing |
| Dishwasher | Not stated; wash with soap and water |
| Warranty | Not stated on this listing |
Why we recommend it
It suits a cook who wants very hot searing and is willing to learn how to cook on bare steel.
Skip it if you want eggs to slide off with no fat. A coated pan is easier.
Pros and cons
Pros
- No coating to wear
- Very high heat limit
- Lighter than cast iron, per Anolon
Cons
- Needs oil and some technique
- No review we could read
- 10-inch size is small for a family
6. Anolon EverLast Tri-Ply 12.5-Inch Stir Fry – Fully Clad Stainless Steel

If you want Anolon without any coating and without carbon steel care, this is the line. The listing says it is clad stainless bonded from base to rim, with no added coatings inside, and that it works on induction. It has flush rivets and a helper handle, and it says acidic foods won’t pick up a metallic taste.
The stir-fry shape is the point of this piece, with room to toss vegetables and shrimp. Prudent Reviews lists an earlier Anolon Tri-Ply Clad line as fully clad, oven safe to 500°F and dishwasher safe. This listing is for the newer EverLast version and doesn’t state those limits, so we mark them not stated.
Here the brand has less of a claim on you. Anolon is best known for nonstick, and fully clad stainless is where All-Clad and Made In have built their names, so compare before you buy. Our stainless steel pan set guide is a good place to start. It was sold by Amazon when we checked.
Why we like it
- Bonded base to rim, per the listing
- No coating inside
- Works on induction
- Helper handle
Key specifications
| Model | 30993 |
|---|---|
| Line | EverLast Tri-Ply |
| Piece | 12.5-inch stir fry |
| Cooking surface | Stainless steel |
| Induction | Yes |
| Oven limit | Not stated on this listing |
| Dishwasher | Not stated on this listing |
| Warranty | Not stated on this listing |
Why we recommend it
It suits an Anolon owner who wants a stainless pan to match, particularly for high-sided tossing.
Skip it if you don’t care about the brand. Stainless specialists have longer track records.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Nothing to wear off
- Good shape for tossing
- Any stove
Cons
- Stainless needs heat control or food sticks (our reasoning)
- Few specs on the listing
- No review we could read

7. Anolon Nouvelle Copper 12-Inch Deep Grill Pan – Ridges and a Copper Layer

Nouvelle Copper puts a layer of copper in the base, and Prudent Reviews describes it as having a copper layer in the middle with a steel base. This piece is the deep grill pan, with raised ridges for grill marks on steak, fish, vegetables and burgers. The listing calls the body hard-anodized aluminum with a nonstick surface and flush rivets, and it gives a heat limit of 500°F.
Note what a grill pan can’t do. Ridges leave lines, but fat collects in the channels and smoke follows, so run your fan, in our view. Prudent Reviews lists this line as induction-ready and dishwasher safe. The listing itself doesn’t say either, and it does list a lifetime warranty.
One seller note: this listing was sold by a third party, always quality, when we checked, and not by Amazon. Check who is selling and the returns terms before you buy. Our best grill pan guide compares this kind of pan across other makers.
Why we like it
- Raised ridges for grill marks
- Oven safe to 500°F, per the listing
- Flush rivets
- Lifetime warranty, per the listing
Key specifications
| Model | 82742 |
|---|---|
| Line | Nouvelle Copper |
| Piece | 12-inch deep grill pan |
| Cooking surface | Nonstick |
| Induction | Yes, per Prudent Reviews |
| Oven limit | 500°F |
| Dishwasher | Yes, per Prudent Reviews |
| Warranty | Lifetime |
Why we recommend it
It suits an apartment cook with no grill who wants grill marks on a nonstick surface.
Skip it if you don’t have a good range hood. Grill pans can smoke, and ridges take work to clean, in our view.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Makes grill marks indoors
- High oven limit
- Lifetime warranty
Cons
- Sold by a third party when we checked
- Ridges collect fat
- Specialized; a flat pan does more jobs
8. Anolon Vanderpump Tri-Ply Ceramic 10-Inch Pan – Clad Body, Ceramic Interior

This is the odd one in the range: a collaboration line that puts a ceramic nonstick interior, in a color called Villa Rosa Pink, inside a fully clad stainless body. The listing mentions sealed rims meant to protect against warping and rust, flush rivets and a stay-cool long handle. It warns that the stay-cool description applies only to long handles.
The listing is short on hard numbers. It doesn’t state an oven limit, induction use or dishwasher care in the details we read, so we mark them not stated. The look is much of what you are buying, and that is a fair reason to buy a pan, as long as you know it.
Ceramic nonstick is a coating, and coatings wear, in our view. We didn’t find a review of this line we could read, so it rests on the listing. If ceramic is what you want and the color doesn’t matter, our ceramic cookware set guide has more choices. It was sold by Amazon when we checked.
Why we like it
- Ceramic surface on a clad body
- Sealed rims, per the listing
- Flush rivets
- A color you won’t find elsewhere in the range
Key specifications
| Model | 31085 |
|---|---|
| Line | Vanderpump |
| Piece | 10-inch pan |
| Cooking surface | Ceramic nonstick |
| Induction | Not stated |
| Oven limit | Not stated |
| Dishwasher | Not stated |
| Warranty | Not stated on this listing |
Why we recommend it
It suits someone who wants this look in the kitchen and who is fine with few published specs.
Skip it if you want specs before you buy. The Accolade tells you far more.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Clad body
- Distinctive look
- Flush rivets
Cons
- Few specs on the listing
- No review we could read
- Handle caveat for short handles
Where Anolon falls short
Prudent Reviews, in its overview of the brand, recommends Anolon for buyers who want good non-stick without overspending. It doesn’t recommend it for those who want superior heat retention, or a non-stick that lasts many years, and it expects a coating to last three to five years. So treat the nonstick lines as cookware you will replace at some point, whatever a lifetime warranty seems to suggest. Prudent Reviews says that warranty is voided by misuse.
It also lists smaller complaints. Thin walls mean the pans don’t hold heat well. The stated pan size overstates the cooking surface by about 2 inches. Glass lids have no vent holes. The seam on the silicone handles looks cheap, in its view. And the 400°F limit on Advanced lines rules out some oven work.
What to look at instead. For hybrid pans, Prudent Reviews concludes that HexClad is stronger, with better egg release and heat retention at a higher cost. For plain nonstick release, Reviewed points to the GreenPan Valencia Pro over Anolon X. For uncoated clad stainless, All-Clad and Made In are the names to compare, and Prudent Reviews lists both among Anolon’s competitors. Our best hybrid frying pan and best nonstick pan set guides go wider than this one brand.

How to choose an Anolon line for your kitchen
Start with the oven limit. Accolade, Ascend, X and Nouvelle Copper are listed to 500°F. Advanced Home is 400°F, and lids can be lower still.
Check induction piece by piece. Lines with a stainless base, including Accolade, Ascend and X, say they work on it. Some older pieces don’t state it, and Prudent Reviews lists plain Advanced as not suited to induction, so read the listing for the exact piece.
Be honest about the dishwasher. Prudent Reviews says Advanced Home isn’t dishwasher safe. And even where a line allows it, Prudent Reviews recommends hand washing Anolon X to protect the coating.
Decide if you want a coating at all. EverLast N2 and EverLast Tri-Ply have none. Everything else here has one.
Buy a set only if you will use it. A set saves shopping, but it often includes pots you don’t need. One good 12-inch pan and a saucepan do a lot of work, in our view.
How we picked these eight Anolon pieces
We have not used this cookware. We looked for plain in-stock listings with a new lead offer, chose one piece from each truly different line, and avoided any exact listing already used on another page. That is why the page mixes pieces and doesn’t always show the most famous item in each line. We read Reviewed’s Anolon X test and Prudent Reviews’ Anolon overview and Anolon X review. Consumer Reports covers Anolon X, but its ratings are behind a paywall, so we can’t report them. We skipped several reposted copies of these reviews. We found no independent test of Accolade or Ascend in our search. We also searched the saferproducts.gov Recall API for Anolon, and it returned none.
Anolon questions, answered
Is Anolon X worth it?
It depends on what you cook. Reviewed and Prudent Reviews both report good searing and heating and weak egg release. Prudent Reviews says it isn’t best in class for any single task but suits someone who wants one versatile pan.
Is Anolon cookware dishwasher safe?
Some lines are. Accolade and Anolon X listings say yes, and Prudent Reviews says Advanced Home isn’t. Anolon X is listed as safe, but Prudent Reviews advises hand washing to protect the coating.
Does Anolon cookware work on induction?
Lines with a stainless base, such as Accolade, Ascend and X, say they do, as do the EverLast pieces here. Check the exact piece, since some listings don’t state it.
How long does Anolon nonstick last?
Prudent Reviews expects three to five years. That is its estimate rather than a measured figure, and care makes a difference.
Who makes Anolon?
The Amazon listings name Meyer Corporation as the manufacturer of these pieces.
Our last word on picking a line
Accolade is the plainest answer for most homes, and Anolon X earns its place if you value a good sear. If you find the brand isn’t a fit, our best nonstick pan set guide and best cookware set guide look across every maker.
