Weber makes more than one grill, and a grill cover only works if it was cut for the grill it sits on. A cover made for a three-burner Spirit flaps around a 22-inch kettle, and a kettle cover will not reach the legs of a Genesis. So the useful question is not which Weber cover is best, but which cover fits the Weber you own.
This guide sorts the covers by grill line: the charcoal kettles, the Performer, the Spirit and Genesis gas grills, the Q and the Traveler. For each one we name Weber’s own fitted cover where it is in stock, plus well-known covers from Classic Accessories and Unicook that list a Weber model by name. If you want a cover for a gas grill from any brand, our wider guide to the best gas grill cover covers that, and this page avoids repeating its picks.

Quick verdict: which Weber cover to buy
For the most common Weber of all, the 22-inch charcoal kettle, buy the Weber Premium 22-inch Charcoal Grill Cover: Weber cut it for 22-inch kettles without a side table, the fabric has UV inhibitors, a strap holds it on and it carries a three-year warranty. For a Spirit with three or four burners, get the Weber Premium Grill Cover for Spirit 300 and 400; for a four-burner Genesis 400, the Weber Premium Grill Cover for Genesis 400. If you want vents and buckles on a kettle cover, look at the Classic Accessories Ravenna kettle cover.

Our picks for the best grill cover Weber owners can buy
The nine covers run from the charcoal kettles to the gas grills to the portables. Weber’s own covers lead each group because Weber cut them to its own grills and states which models and years they fit. The third-party covers from Classic Accessories and Unicook earn a place where they add something Weber’s cover lacks, such as vents, or where Weber’s own cover for an older grill was not in stock. The Weber covers for the two- and three-burner Spirit, the Genesis 300 and the Q 2800N+ are already reviewed in our gas grill cover guide, so they are not repeated here.
Charcoal kettles and the Performer
1. Weber Premium 22-inch Charcoal Grill Cover – Cut for the Classic Kettle

The 22-inch kettle is the grill most people picture when they hear the name Weber, and this is the cover Weber makes for it. Weber lists it, model 7150, for 22-inch Weber charcoal grills without a side table, which covers the Original Kettle, the Original Kettle Premium and the Master-Touch. It also says plainly what it does not fit: the Smokey Mountain Cooker, which is taller.
The fabric is polyester with UV inhibitors, which Weber says helps it resist fading, and Weber describes it as breathable and water resistant. That pairing matters on a charcoal grill. A cover that breathes lets moisture escape instead of sitting against the bowl, and a kettle left out in a humid Gulf Coast summer, like ours in Houston, sees plenty of both rain and damp air.
One fastening strap keeps it in place in wind. Weber does not publish the cover’s exact dimensions or say how to clean it, so treat it as a fitted shell: pull it over a cool grill, buckle the strap, and brush it off when it gets dusty. The three-year warranty is the longest Weber offers on its kettle covers.
Why we like it
- Made by Weber for 22-inch Weber charcoal grills without a side table
- Polyester with UV inhibitors that Weber says resist fading
- Breathable and water resistant, per Weber
- Fastening strap for windy days
- Three-year warranty
Key specifications

| Size | 22-inch (exact dimensions not stated) |
| Vents | Not stated |
| Fastening | Fastening strap |
| Warranty | 3 years |
| Care | Not stated |
Why we recommend it
It suits anyone with a standard 22-inch Weber kettle who wants the cover the grill maker designed for it, backed by a three-year warranty.
Skip it if your kettle has a side table or you own a Performer: Weber says this cover is for kettles without a side table, and the Performer has its own cover (pick 4).
Pros and cons
Pros
- Weber’s own fit for the 22-inch kettle
- UV-inhibiting, breathable fabric
- Three-year warranty
Cons
- No vents listed
- Only one strap
- Exact dimensions and care not published
2. Weber 18-inch Kettle Grill Cover – Snug Fit With a Built-In Pouch

The 18-inch kettle is the smaller sibling, popular on balconies and small patios, and a 22-inch cover hangs loose on it. Weber’s cover for it, model 7148, is listed for Weber 18-inch charcoal grills and measures 20.5 by 20 by 32.5 inches according to the listing.
It is made of 100 percent polyester, which Weber describes as lightweight and tough. Two details set it apart from the other kettle covers here. Velcro straps pull it snug around the legs, and there is a storage pouch sewn inside the cover that stays hidden when the grill is covered, so the cover folds into its own bag when you take it off for the season or pack it into the car.
Weber does not say whether it is vented or how to clean it. The three-year warranty matches the 22-inch Premium cover. Weber also sells a lighter silver 18-inch cover, model 7175, with a two-year warranty; this black one is the better-equipped of the two.
Why we like it
- Sized by Weber for its 18-inch charcoal grills
- Velcro straps for a snug fit
- Integrated storage pouch hidden inside the cover
- Three-year warranty
Key specifications
| Model | 7148 |
|---|---|
| Fits | Weber 18-inch charcoal grills |
| Material | 100% polyester |
| Size | 20.5 x 20 x 32.5 inches (listing) |
| Vents | Not stated |
| Fastening | Velcro straps |
| Warranty | 3 years |
| Care | Not stated |
Why we recommend it
It suits owners of an 18-inch Weber kettle, especially anyone who moves the grill or stores the cover between seasons, since the pouch keeps it together.
Skip it if you want a cover with vents and buckles; the Classic Accessories Ravenna (pick 3) also fits the 18-inch kettle and lists both.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Made for the 18-inch kettle
- Built-in storage pouch
- Three-year warranty
Cons
- No vents listed
- Care instructions not stated
3. Classic Accessories Ravenna 26.5-inch Kettle Cover – Vents, Buckles and a Tight Hem

Classic Accessories is a long-running maker of outdoor covers, and its Ravenna kettle cover is the best-equipped kettle cover here. The listing names the Weber grills it fits: the Original Kettle in 18 and 22 inches, the Original Kettle Premium 22-inch, and the Gold and Silver series in 18.5 and 22.5 inches. It measures 26.5 inches across and 38 inches high. Classic Accessories also states that it is not affiliated with Weber, so this is a third-party cover sized to Weber kettles, not a Weber part.
The extras are what you pay for. Structured vents lined with mesh stay open, which the maker says prevents wind lofting and mildew. An elastic hem cord runs through a channel to cinch the bottom, two buckles and adjustable webbing belts hold it on, and padded handles make it easy to lift off. The fabric, which Classic Accessories calls Gardelle One, is a woven polyester with a UV-stabilized coating and a water-resistant laminated undercoating.
The warranty is two years, a year less than Weber’s own kettle covers, and the color is a dark taupe rather than black.
Why we like it
- Lists specific Weber kettles it fits, in both 18 and 22-inch sizes
- Mesh-lined vents that the maker says reduce lofting and mildew
- Elastic hem cord, two buckles and adjustable belts
- Woven polyester with UV-stabilized coating and water-resistant backing
- Padded handles
Key specifications
| Model | 55-178-015101-EC |
|---|---|
| Fits | Weber Original Kettle 18 and 22-inch, Original Kettle Premium 22-inch, Gold and Silver series 18.5 and 22.5-inch |
| Material | Gardelle One woven polyester, UV-stabilized coating, water-resistant laminated undercoating |
| Size | 26.5-inch diameter x 38 inches high |
| Vents | Yes, structured mesh-lined vents |
| Fastening | Two buckles, adjustable webbing belts, elastic hem cord |
| Warranty | 2-year limited |
| Care | Not stated |
Why we recommend it
It suits kettle owners whose grill sits in an exposed, windy or damp spot, where vents and a cinched hem do more than a plain shell.
Skip it if you want the longest warranty or a Weber part; Weber’s own kettle covers carry three years.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Vents, buckles and hem cord
- Fits 18 and 22-inch Weber kettles
- Padded handles
Cons
- Two-year warranty, shorter than Weber’s
- Larger than the grill, so less fitted
- Not a Weber part
4. Weber Grill Cover for Performer – Straps That Clip to the Cart

The Performer puts a 22-inch kettle into a cart with a work table, and that table is why a kettle cover will not do. Weber’s cover for it, model 3401382, is listed for the Performer Premium and Performer Premium Smart 22-inch grills, and the listing title names the Performer Deluxe from the 2005 to 2025 model years.
Weber describes the fabric as weather resistant and UV inhibiting to resist fading. Two fastening straps connect to the cart itself, which keeps the cover from riding up in wind better than a strap around a leg. Weber calls the design lightweight, so it is easy to pull on and off.
The listing does not give dimensions, a warranty term or cleaning instructions. Because Weber names model years, check when your Performer was made before you order; newer Performers may need a different cover.
Why we like it
- Weber’s own cover for the Performer cart
- Two straps that connect to the cart
- Weather-resistant, UV-inhibiting fabric
- Lightweight and easy to remove
Key specifications
| Model | 3401382 |
|---|---|
| Fits | Performer Premium and Premium Smart 22-inch; Performer Deluxe 2005 to 2025 (listing title) |
| Material | Weather-resistant, UV-inhibiting fabric |
| Size | Not stated |
| Vents | Not stated |
| Fastening | Two straps that connect to the cart |
| Warranty | Not stated |
| Care | Not stated |
Why we recommend it
It suits Performer owners who want a cover that wraps the cart and table as well as the bowl, from the maker of the grill.
Skip it if you cannot confirm your Performer’s model year, since Weber ties the fit to specific years.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Fits the whole Performer cart
- Straps anchor to the cart
- UV-inhibiting fabric
Cons
- No warranty term listed
- Dimensions and care not stated
- Fit tied to model years
Spirit and Genesis gas grills

5. Weber Premium Grill Cover for Spirit 300 and 400 – For the Bigger Spirit

Weber makes two Spirit covers, and the model names have shifted over the years, which is where buyers go wrong. This one, model 7139, is the larger. Weber lists it for Spirit 400 series four-burner grills made since 2025, Spirit and Spirit II three-burner grills made from 2016 to 2024, and two-burner Spirit grills with side-mounted controls made before 2016. The smaller Spirit cover, for two-burner grills and the 2025 two- and three-burner models, is reviewed in our gas grill cover guide.
The fabric has UV inhibitors that Weber says resist fading, and it is breathable and water resistant. Fastening straps hold it in place in strong wind, and Weber describes the cover as lightweight enough to put on and take off easily. Weber’s care instruction is to spot clean only, so do not hose it down or put it in a machine.
The three-year limited warranty is Weber’s standard for its premium covers. Weber does not list the dimensions, so go by model and year rather than a tape measure.
Why we like it
- Weber lists exact Spirit models and years it fits
- UV inhibitors in the fabric resist fading
- Breathable and water resistant
- Fastening straps for wind
- Three-year limited warranty
Key specifications
| Model | 7139 |
|---|---|
| Fits | Spirit 400 4-burner (2025 on); Spirit and Spirit II 3-burner (2016 to 2024); Spirit 2-burner with side controls (before 2016) |
| Material | Fabric with UV inhibitors; breathable, water resistant |
| Size | Not stated |
| Vents | Not stated |
| Fastening | Fastening straps |
| Warranty | 3-year limited |
| Care | Spot clean only |
Why we recommend it
It suits owners of a three-burner Spirit from 2016 to 2024 or a four-burner Spirit from 2025 on, who want the cover Weber designed for that frame.
Skip it if you own a two-burner Spirit made after 2016 or a 2025 three-burner model; Weber’s smaller Spirit cover fits those, and the model-year list is the thing to check.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Clear model and year list
- UV-inhibiting, breathable fabric
- Three-year warranty
Cons
- Spot clean only
- Dimensions not published
- Easy to confuse with Weber’s smaller Spirit cover
6. Weber Premium Grill Cover for Genesis 400 – Made for the Four-Burner Genesis

The Genesis is Weber’s larger family gas grill, and the four-burner 400 series needs a longer cover than the three-burner 300. This is Weber’s cover for it, model 7758, which the listing describes as compatible with Genesis 400 series models with four main burners. The three-burner Genesis 300 cover is in our gas grill cover guide.
Weber describes the fabric as water resistant and says it resists tearing, fading and cracking. Fastening straps keep it from blowing off, and the cover is light enough to handle without a second person, which matters on a grill this wide. As with the Spirit cover, Weber’s instruction is to spot clean only.
The warranty is the most clearly worded of any cover here: three years from the original date of purchase against defects in material and workmanship, for the original purchaser only, excluding normal wear and labor. Weber does not publish the dimensions.
Why we like it
- Weber’s own fit for four-burner Genesis 400 grills
- Water-resistant fabric that Weber says resists tearing, fading and cracking
- Fastening straps
- Three-year warranty with the terms spelled out
Key specifications
| Model | 7758 |
|---|---|
| Fits | Genesis 400 series with 4 main burners |
| Material | Water-resistant fabric; resists tearing, fading and cracking |
| Size | Not stated |
| Vents | Not stated |
| Fastening | Fastening straps |
| Warranty | 3 years from purchase, original purchaser, excludes normal wear |
| Care | Spot clean only |
Why we recommend it
It suits owners of a current four-burner Genesis who want the cover cut for that grill and a warranty with clear terms.
Skip it if your Genesis is an older Genesis II or a three-burner model; Weber names only the 400 series here, and pick 7 covers the Genesis II 300.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Made for the four-burner Genesis
- Tear, fade and crack resistance stated
- Clear warranty terms
Cons
- Spot clean only
- No vents or dimensions listed
7. Unicook 58-inch Cover for Weber Genesis II 300 – Fits the Older Genesis

Before Weber’s 2022 redesign, the Genesis was sold as the Genesis II and the earlier Genesis 300 series, and those grills need a differently shaped cover. Unicook, a cover maker that sizes many of its covers to named grills, makes this one to the same 58 by 25 by 44.5-inch dimensions as Weber’s 7130 cover for those grills. Unicook lists it for the Genesis II, EX, SX and LX 300 and Genesis 300 series, and says clearly that it does not fit the 2022 Genesis 300.
The fabric is a heavy-duty, fade-resistant polyester with a waterproof vinyl coating, which Unicook says resists rain, tearing and cold cracking. Fastening straps hold it down and fabric handles on top help you lift it off and hang it up. Unlike Weber’s spot-clean-only covers, Unicook says you can hose it off and let it air dry in the sun, but not put it in a washer or dryer.
Unicook also asks you to let the grill cool completely before covering it, and to measure your grill first. No warranty term is stated on the listing.
Why we like it
- Same stated dimensions as Weber’s 7130 Genesis II cover
- Names the Genesis models it fits and the 2022 model it does not
- Polyester with a waterproof vinyl coating
- Hose clean and air dry
- Top handles for lifting and hanging
Key specifications
| Model | W107130 |
|---|---|
| Fits | Genesis II, EX, SX, LX 300 and Genesis 300 series; not the 2022 Genesis 300 |
| Material | Fade-resistant polyester with waterproof vinyl coating |
| Size | 58 x 25 x 44.5 inches (W x D x H) |
| Vents | Not stated |
| Fastening | Fastening straps, top handles |
| Warranty | Not stated |
| Care | Hose off, air dry; not machine washable |
Why we recommend it
It suits owners of a pre-2022 Genesis II or Genesis 300 who want a fitted cover sized to Weber’s own pattern, with fabric you can rinse.
Skip it if your Genesis was made in 2022 or later; Unicook says it does not fit the 2022 Genesis 300.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Matches the Weber 7130 dimensions
- Waterproof vinyl coating
- Can be hosed clean
Cons
- No warranty term listed
- No vents listed
- Not a Weber part
Weber Q and Traveler portables

8. Unicook Cover for Weber Q on a Portable Cart – Covers Grill and Cart Together

The older Weber Q grills, the Q100 and Q1000 and the larger Q200 and Q2000, are often set on Weber’s folding portable cart and left on the patio. We did not find Weber’s own cover for that setup in stock on Amazon, so this Unicook cover, model E107113, fills the gap. Unicook says it is sized like Weber’s 7113 cover, at 32 by 17 by 35 inches, and fits those Q grills on the portable cart with both side tables folded in.
The fit notes are specific, and worth reading. Unicook says it does not fit the Traveler, does not fit Q grills with the side tables open or on the 6523 stand or the 6525 heavy-duty Q cart, and does not fit the new Q models released in 2023. Measure your grill on its cart before you buy.
The fabric is solution-dyed with a water-repellent finish on the outside and a waterproof vinyl undercoating, which Unicook says resists fading, tearing and cold cracking. Sewn-in handles and adjustable straps complete it. No warranty term is listed.
Why we like it
- Covers the Q grill and its folding cart in one piece
- Clear list of setups it does and does not fit
- Water-repellent outer and waterproof vinyl undercoating
- Adjustable straps and sewn-in handles
Key specifications
| Model | E107113 |
|---|---|
| Fits | Q100/1000 and Q200/2000 on the portable cart, side tables folded; not 2023 and later Q models or the Traveler |
| Material | Solution-dyed fabric, water-repellent finish, waterproof vinyl undercoating |
| Size | 32 x 17 x 35 inches (W x D x H) |
| Vents | Not stated |
| Fastening | Adjustable straps, sewn-in handles |
| Warranty | Not stated |
| Care | Not stated |
Why we recommend it
It suits owners of a pre-2023 Weber Q kept on its folding cart outdoors, who want one cover over both.
Skip it if you have a 2023 or later Q; for the Q 2800N+, Weber’s own bonnet cover is reviewed in our gas grill cover guide.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Covers grill and cart together
- Very specific fit notes
- Waterproof undercoating
Cons
- Not for the 2023 and later Q
- Side tables must be folded
- No warranty term listed
9. Weber Traveler Premium Grill Cover – For the Traveler Standing Up

The Traveler is Weber’s fold-down portable gas grill on a wheeled cart, and it stands taller than a Q when it is set up. Weber’s Premium cover for it, model 7770, is made to go over the Traveler while it stands upright, at a campsite or on the patio.
Weber describes the fabric as a durable, weather-resistant polyester that shields the grill from rain and snow. Fastening straps keep it from blowing away, and the design is light enough to pull on and off easily. Weber does not list dimensions, vents or care instructions; the warranty is two years.
Weber sells two other Traveler covers. The Cargo Protector fits over the grill when it is folded down for transport, and there is a separate Premium cover for the smaller Traveler Compact. Check which Traveler you own, and whether you want to cover it standing or folded, before you order.
Why we like it
- Weber’s cover for the Traveler standing upright
- Weather-resistant polyester
- Fastening straps
- Lightweight for camping
Key specifications
| Model | 7770 |
|---|---|
| Fits | Weber Traveler, standing upright |
| Material | Weather-resistant polyester |
| Size | Not stated |
| Vents | Not stated |
| Fastening | Fastening straps |
| Warranty | 2 years |
| Care | Not stated |
Why we recommend it
It suits Traveler owners who leave the grill set up between cooks, at home or on a multi-day camping trip.
Skip it if you want to cover the grill folded for the car; that is the job of Weber’s Cargo Protector.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Made for the upright Traveler
- Light enough to pack
- Fastening straps
Cons
- Two-year warranty
- Does not cover the grill folded
- Dimensions not stated
How to find the right cover for your Weber
Weber cuts its covers to the grill, so the right one comes down to model and year more than fabric. Work through these in order.
1. Find the model and the year
Weber has renamed and reshaped its grills over the years, and the covers follow. The Spirit cover list above changes at 2016 and again at 2025, and Unicook’s Genesis II cover stops at the 2022 Genesis. The grill’s model and serial number are on a label, usually inside the cabinet door or on the frame; with that in hand, the fit list on a Weber cover reads clearly.
2. Count the burners, or measure the bowl
For gas grills, the burner count separates the covers: a three-burner Spirit and a four-burner Spirit 400 share a cover, but a two-burner Spirit does not. For kettles, measure across the bowl. An 18-inch and a 22-inch kettle need different covers, and the Smokey Mountain Cooker is taller than either.
3. Side tables and carts change the shape
A kettle with a side table, a Performer cart or a Q on its folding cart each needs a cover cut for that setup. Weber’s 22-inch kettle cover is for kettles without a side table, and Unicook’s Q cover only fits with the side tables folded.
4. Weber’s cover or a third-party one
Weber’s covers list exact models and usually carry a two- or three-year warranty. Third-party covers from established makers like Classic Accessories and Unicook can add vents, buckles or washable fabric, and fill gaps where Weber’s own cover is out of stock. They are not Weber parts, so read their fit lists as closely.
5. Care and fabric
Weber’s Spirit and Genesis covers say spot clean only. Unicook’s Genesis II cover can be hosed off. If you expect to rinse pollen, leaves and sap off a cover often, that difference matters.

How we chose these nine covers
We started from Weber’s grill lines, not from a list of covers, and looked for a fitted cover for each: the 22-inch and 18-inch kettles, the Performer, the Spirit, the Genesis, the Q and the Traveler. We used Weber’s own listings for fit, fabric, warranty and care, and the Classic Accessories and Unicook listings for theirs. Every cover was in stock on Amazon when we checked. We skipped covers sold only under little-known names with no maker details, covers that were out of stock or nearly so, and the Weber covers already reviewed in our best gas grill cover guide. We did not test these covers; the recommendations rest on what the makers state and what a working kitchen looks for in outdoor gear.
Weber grill cover questions, answered
What is the best grill cover for a Weber kettle?
For a 22-inch kettle without a side table, Weber’s Premium 22-inch cover (model 7150). For an 18-inch kettle, Weber’s 7148 cover. If you want vents and buckles, the Classic Accessories Ravenna fits both sizes.
Is a Weber cover better than a third-party one?
Weber’s covers are cut to Weber’s own grills and list exact models and years, which removes the guesswork. Covers from established third-party makers can add features, but you have to check their fit list against your grill just as carefully.
Can I cover my Weber while it is still warm?
No. Weber’s owner’s manual for the Spirit E-330 and SP-330 says not to put a grill cover or anything flammable on the grill, or in the storage area under it, while it is in operation or hot. Unicook also says to let the grill cool completely first. Wait until the grill is cold.
How do I clean a Weber grill cover?
Weber’s instruction for its Spirit and Genesis covers is to spot clean only. Unicook says its Genesis II cover can be hosed off and air dried, but not machine washed. Follow the label on your own cover.
Which Weber cover fits a Spirit II E-310?
The Spirit II E-310 is a three-burner Spirit, and Weber lists its 7139 cover (pick 5) for Spirit and Spirit II three-burner grills made from 2016 to 2024.
Our last word on Weber covers
Start with your grill’s model and year, then pick the cover made for it: Weber’s 7150 for the 22-inch kettle, 7139 for the bigger Spirit, 7758 for the four-burner Genesis. If you are still choosing the grill itself, our guides to the best charcoal grill and the best portable grill are a good place to start, and our gas grill cover guide covers the other brands. If you would rather someone else did the grilling tonight, see the menu at Julia’s and call to order.
