A heart-shaped waffle is the same batter as any other waffle, poured into a different mold. That is the whole point: for a birthday, Valentine’s Day, an anniversary breakfast or a child who needs a reason to eat, a heart turns an ordinary breakfast into something a little special without any extra cooking skill.
This guide covers only heart-shaped waffle makers: the classic five-heart round iron, mini irons that bake one heart or several small ones, and a thicker four-heart model for children. Seven irons from Euro Cuisine, Dash, Holstein Housewares, Paris Hilton, Sunvivi and UVFAST, with what each maker states about size, controls and cleanup. For round, square and Belgian irons, see our main guide to the best waffle maker.

Quick verdict: which heart waffle iron to buy
For most kitchens, the best heart shaped waffle maker is the Euro Cuisine Heart Shaped Waffle Maker: five hearts on an 8-inch plate, adjustable temperature, a drip rim and a three-year limited warranty. For parties and families, the Dash Multi Mini Heart bakes six separate small hearts at once; for children, the Holstein Housewares 4-Section Heart makes thicker hearts with a locking lid; and for one person or a gift, the Dash Heart Mini is the smallest.
The table below compares the five strongest picks; all seven are reviewed after it.

Our picks for the best heart shaped waffle maker
These seven bake from one heart to six. Each review covers who it suits, the details that matter and one honest reason to pass on it.
1. Euro Cuisine Heart Shaped Waffle Maker – Five Hearts and a Heat Dial

Euro Cuisine’s WM520 is the classic heart waffle iron: one 8-inch round plate divided into five heart-shaped sections, the shape most people remember from Scandinavian-style heart waffles. A single batch gives five hearts that pull apart, enough for two people, or for a small plate each at a family breakfast.
What lifts it above most heart irons is control. The listing describes adjustable temperature settings, so you can go from soft and pale to crisp and brown, and a wide drip rim around the plate to catch batter that spreads too far. The chrome exterior stands on end for storage, and a recipe book comes in the box.
Euro Cuisine describes the nonstick plates as free of PTFE and PFOA; it does not name the coating material on the listing, so take that as the maker’s statement. Retailer listings give 850 watts, although one gives 680, so the exact rating is unclear. The listing gives a three-year limited warranty, the longest among the heart irons here.
Why we like it
- Five hearts on an 8-inch plate (listing)
- Adjustable temperature (listing)
- Wide drip rim (listing)
- Three-year limited warranty (listing)
Key specifications

Why we recommend it
It suits anyone who wants the traditional five-heart waffle, with real control over browning and a warranty that lasts.
Skip it if you want a ready light spelled out; the listing does not name one.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Traditional five-heart shape
- Browning control
- Drip rim
- Longest warranty here
Cons
- Wattage figures disagree
- Coating material not named
- No ready light stated
2. Dash Multi Mini Heart Waffle Maker – Six Small Hearts at Once

Dash’s Multi Mini Heart bakes six separate 3-inch hearts per batch, the most of any iron here. Because each heart is its own mold rather than a section of one big waffle, they come out as individual pieces, which makes them easy to share around a table, pack for school or stack on a party platter.
Dash gives the power as 760 watts. There is an indicator light that tells you when the plates are hot, and the listing describes dual nonstick heating plates with a PTFE coating and an easy-release surface. It sits on non-slip feet and needs only a plug-in to start.
There is no browning control named; like most Dash irons, you judge doneness by time and by the steam easing off. Dash’s product page gives a one-year warranty, extended to two years if you register through its rewards program. Each heart is small and fairly thin, so this is a snack and party iron more than a source of thick breakfast waffles.
Why we like it
- Six separate 3-inch hearts per batch (Dash)
- 760 watts (Dash)
- Indicator light (listing)
- One-year warranty, two with registration (Dash)

- Small, thin waffles
- PTFE coating, if you prefer ceramic

3. Dash Heart Mini Waffle Maker – One 4-Inch Heart, Tiny Footprint

The Dash Heart Mini is the single-heart version of Dash’s well-known 4-inch mini iron. It bakes one heart-shaped waffle at a time, which is the right size for one person, a Valentine’s breakfast tray, or a child’s after-school snack.
The listing describes dual nonstick cooking surfaces, a quick heat-up and an indicator light that tells you when to start cooking. Non-slip feet keep it steady. Kohl’s lists it at 350 watts, the lowest draw here, and it is light enough to keep in a drawer.
With one heart per batch it is slow for a group, and there is no browning control. The listing does not state the warranty term on this page. As a gift or a single-serve iron, though, it is hard to beat for size.
Why we like it
- 4-inch heart-shaped waffle (listing)
- Indicator light (listing)
- Non-slip feet (listing)
- 350 watts (Kohl’s)

- Quick to heat
- Simple
- Easy to store
Cons
- One heart per batch
- No browning control
- Warranty not stated on listing
4. Holstein Housewares 4-Section Heart Waffle Maker – Thick Hearts, Locking Lid

Holstein’s heart iron bakes four heart-shaped waffles in a thick mold, according to the listing. The four sections form a square, and the hearts come out a little deeper than most mini irons, closer to a classic American waffle than a wafer.
The listing describes the nonstick plates as PFOA-free, with lights for power and preheat, a cool-touch handle and a safety lock to keep the lid shut. It stores on end. Holstein suggests pushing popsicle sticks into the batter for waffles on a stick, which children tend to like.
Home Depot lists this colorway at 760 watts, and the listing gives a one-year manufacturer warranty. There is no browning dial named. This is the mint version; Holstein sells the same model in other colors, which do not change the plates.
Why we like it
- Four thick heart waffles per batch (listing)
- PFOA-free nonstick plates (listing)
- Cool-touch handle and safety lock (listing)
- One-year warranty (listing)
Key specifications

Pros and cons
Pros
- Thicker hearts than most minis
- Locking lid
- Stores upright
- Fun on-a-stick option
Cons
- No browning control
- Four hearts, not five or six
- PFOA-free is all it says about the coating
5. Paris Hilton Heart Waffle Maker – Five Mini Hearts or One Waffle

Paris Hilton’s heart waffle maker has a 6-inch nonstick plate that bakes five mini heart-shaped waffles at once, or one individual waffle, according to the listing. It is pink, with the brand’s “That’s Hot” phrase on the lid, and it is clearly sold as much as a gift as a kitchen tool.
Under the styling it is a straightforward iron. Plug it in, wait for the heat indicator to turn green, pour the batter and close the lid; there is no flipping. The listing describes the plates as made without PFAS or PFOA and says they wipe clean.
Its compact size fits in a cabinet or drawer. The listing does not state the wattage, a browning control or a warranty term, and we could not find them on retailer pages, so we list them as not stated.
Why we like it
- Five mini hearts on a 6-inch plate (listing)
- Made without PFAS or PFOA (listing)

6. Sunvivi 5-Heart Waffle Maker – A Temperature Knob on a Small Iron

Sunvivi’s ZWF008 makes five heart-shaped waffles per batch, in the same five-section layout as the Euro Cuisine but in a smaller, lighter body. Its main difference from the minis on this page is a temperature control knob, which the listing says lets you adjust the bake from soft inside with a crisp outside to golden and crunchy.
An indicator light shows when it has preheated, and Sunvivi says waffles are ready in about five minutes. The nonstick plates wipe clean, and the iron stores upright.
Sunvivi is an Amazon-first brand, and the listing does not state the wattage, plate size, coating type or warranty term. Choose it for the dial on a small iron, and check the seller’s warranty before you buy.
Why we like it
- Five hearts per batch (listing)
- Temperature control knob (listing)
- Preheat indicator (listing)
- Upright storage (listing)
Key specifications

7. UVFAST Heart Shaped Waffle Maker – Five Browning Levels and a Spill Channel

UVFAST’s JK-159 has an 8-inch plate, the same size as the Euro Cuisine, that bakes five mini hearts or one larger heart-patterned round. The listing gives 1,000 watts, the highest here, and a five-level browning control.
A wrap-around channel catches excess batter, and the handle stays cool to the touch. The temperature control is automatic: when the plate cools, it heats again, and a preheat light on top tells you when to pour. It stores upright with the cord wrapped underneath.
UVFAST is an Amazon-first brand, and the listing does not state a warranty term or the coating type beyond nonstick. It is the pick for someone who wants the five-heart format with a numbered browning scale and an overflow channel.
Why we like it
- 8-inch plate, five hearts (listing)
- Five browning levels (listing)
- Wrap-around batter channel (listing)
- 1,000 watts (listing)

How to choose a heart waffle iron
Heart irons look alike in photos, but they differ in ways that change what you get on the plate.
Five-section round or separate hearts
The traditional heart iron, like the Euro Cuisine, UVFAST and Sunvivi, is one round plate divided into five hearts that meet in the middle; you tear them apart after cooking. Irons like the Dash Multi Mini Heart and Holstein bake separate hearts in their own molds, which come out as clean individual pieces.
Plate size and how many it feeds
An 8-inch five-heart plate feeds about two people per batch. A 4-inch mini makes one heart, enough for one. If you are cooking for a family or a party, count hearts per batch first: six on the Dash Multi Mini Heart, five on the round irons, four on the Holstein.
Thickness
Heart irons make thinner waffles than Belgian irons, and thin waffles crisp faster and burn sooner. The Holstein’s thicker mold gives a softer, more cake-like heart. Thin hearts suit cinnamon sugar and a dusting of powdered sugar; thicker ones hold fruit and cream better.
Browning control
Most mini heart irons have one heat setting and a light. If you want a pale, soft heart one day and a crisp one the next, choose an iron with a dial: the Euro Cuisine, Sunvivi and UVFAST all have one.
Coating and cleaning
All of these are nonstick, but the makers describe the coatings differently: Dash names PTFE, Euro Cuisine says PTFE- and PFOA-free, Paris Hilton says made without PFAS or PFOA, and Holstein says PFOA-free. None of the plates come out, so cleaning is a wipe once the iron has cooled. Heart points trap batter, so a soft brush helps.

How we picked these seven heart irons
We started from what a kitchen wants from a novelty iron that still has to cook well: a clean heart shape that releases without tearing, even heat to the points, and a size that matches how many people you are feeding. We looked at heart-shaped waffle makers from identifiable brands sold on Amazon in the United States and kept only those showing as in stock when we checked.
Specifications come from the Amazon listings, Dash’s own product page for the Multi Mini Heart, and US retailer listings for wattage where the maker did not give one (Kohl’s for the Dash Heart Mini, Home Depot for the Holstein, several retailers for the Euro Cuisine), which we label as such. We left out Nordic Ware’s cast aluminum stovetop Sweetheart Waffler and Nostalgia’s MyMini Heart, both showing low stock; a Dash print-design mini whose plate is round rather than heart-shaped; a second listing of the same five-heart iron sold under a different brand name; and unbranded heart irons. We searched the US Consumer Product Safety Commission’s recall listings and found no recall for any of these seven models.
We have not cooked with these irons for this guide, and we did not draw on outside equipment reviews; everything here comes from the makers, the listings and retailers, read from a restaurant kitchen’s point of view.

Heart waffle maker questions, answered
Can I use regular waffle batter in a heart waffle maker?
Yes. Any waffle batter works. Because heart irons usually make thinner waffles, check the first batch a little early, and fill each heart just to the edge so the points cook through.
How do I keep heart waffles from sticking at the points?
Let the iron preheat fully, follow the maker’s advice on oiling the plates, and do not open it while steam is still pouring out. A soft brush clears batter from the points once the iron is cool.
How many hearts does a heart waffle maker make?
It depends on the iron: one on the Dash Heart Mini, four on the Holstein, five on the round irons like the Euro Cuisine and UVFAST, and six on the Dash Multi Mini Heart.
Is there a stovetop heart waffle iron?
Yes. Nordic Ware makes a cast aluminum stovetop heart iron, but it was showing low stock when we checked, so we did not include it. For other non-electric irons, see our main guide to the best waffle maker.
Which heart waffle maker makes the best gift?
For a cook, the Euro Cuisine, for its browning control and warranty. For a child or a fan of pink kitchenware, the Dash Heart Mini or the Paris Hilton iron.
Our final pick for heart waffles
Buy the Euro Cuisine Heart Shaped Waffle Maker for the classic five-heart waffle with browning control and a three-year warranty. Choose the Dash Multi Mini Heart for parties, the Holstein for children, the UVFAST for numbered browning levels, and the Dash Heart Mini for one person or a gift.
