A juice glass is a small thing to shop for, and that is the trouble. Search for one and most of what comes back is a 12-ounce tumbler with the word juice added to its title. If you want a real small glass for breakfast, you have to read the capacity on every listing.
A good glass of fresh-squeezed orange juice doesn’t need much room. This guide covers eight sets from about 5.5 to 8 ounces, from Libbey, Duralex, Bormioli Rocco, Arcoroc and others, and says what each maker states about strength, stacking and the dishwasher. Where a maker doesn’t say, we write “Not stated”.

Quick verdict: which juice glasses to buy
For most homes, the best juice glasses are the Libbey 5.5-ounce Fruit Juice Glasses: truly small, weighted at the base, and sold in a set of eight. If you want one glass that takes hard use and also holds coffee, buy the Duralex Le Gigogne, which is tempered and made in France. For a tight cabinet, the Bormioli Rocco Rock Bar stacks neatly.

Our picks for the best juice glasses
1. Libbey Fruit Juice Glasses, 5.5 oz, Set of 8 – A True Small Glass

This is the set we would send most kitchens to first, because it is the one set here actually built around a small pour. At 5.5 ounces and 3.5 inches tall, it holds what most people mean by a glass of juice at breakfast, without the half-empty look of a pour in a water tumbler.
Libbey describes strong, simple lines and a weighted base. That base matters on a crowded breakfast table, where a light little glass is the first thing to go over when someone reaches for the salsa. Eight glasses also means you can set a table for a family and still have a couple left while the others are in the dishwasher.
The listing says the glass is lead-free and the set is dishwasher safe. It says nothing about stacking or where the glasses are made, so we list those as not stated. We could not find an independent review we were able to read for this exact set, so this pick rests on Libbey’s own details and on the fit between its size and the job.
Why we like it
- The listing gives a 5.5-ounce capacity, the smallest glass on this page
- A weighted base steadies a short glass
- Eight glasses cover a family table
- Libbey lists the set as dishwasher safe
Key specifications
| Model | 149 |
|---|---|
| Material | Glass, listed as lead-free |
| Capacity | 5.5 oz |
| Count | 8 |
| Size | 3.5 in tall |
| Dishwasher safe | Yes |

| Stacks | Not stated |
Why we recommend it
It suits a household that drinks a small glass of juice most mornings and wants plain glasses that also work for milk or water.
Skip it if you want a glass that doubles as an everyday water glass, because 5.5 ounces will feel small for that.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Small size made for juice
- Weighted base
- Set of 8
Cons
- Too small for general drinking
- No stated stacking
- Country of manufacture not stated

2. Duralex Le Gigogne Tumblers, 7 3/4 oz, Set of 6 – Tempered and Made in France

The Gigogne is the faceted French tumbler you have probably seen in a cafe. Duralex says it invented tempered glass, makes this one in France and rates it from -4 to 266 degrees Fahrenheit, with freezer, microwave and dishwasher use all listed. The maker also claims it is 2.5 times more resistant to breakage and chipping than regular glass, which is its own figure and not an outside result.
It has outside support of a kind. Tasting Table reported in August 2026 that Consumer Reports picked Duralex Le Gigogne and Le Picardie sets as water glasses that do it all. We read Tasting Table’s report and not Consumer Reports’ own article, and that report doesn’t say which sizes were picked, so take it as a point about the line.
At about 7 3/4 ounces, it is larger than the Libbey, and a normal pour of juice leaves room at the top. The listing shows both 7 3/4 and 7 1/2 ounces in different fields, so treat that as approximate. Duralex lists the set as stackable and suited to hot or cold drinks, which means the same glass can hold cafe de olla after the juice is gone.
Why we like it
- Tempered glass with a stated range of -4 to 266 degrees Fahrenheit
- Listed for freezer, microwave and dishwasher
- Nests for storage
- Made in France
Key specifications
| Model | 5481 |
|---|---|
| Material | Tempered glass |
| Capacity | About 7 3/4 oz |
| Count | 6 |
| Size | Not stated |
| Dishwasher safe | Yes |
| Made in | France |
| Stacks | Yes |
Why we recommend it
It suits a kitchen that wants one small glass for juice, coffee and water, and that has lost cheaper glasses to the sink.
Skip it if you want the small, straight breakfast shape, because the faceted sides are a look not everyone likes.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Maker states tempered glass
- Goes from freezer to microwave per the listing
- Stacks
Cons
- Larger than a classic juice glass
- Listing fields disagree slightly on capacity
- Sold by a third-party seller at the time of writing
3. Bormioli Rocco Rock Bar Juice Glasses, 7.25 oz, Set of 4 – A Stackable Bistro Glass

The Rock Bar line is a bistro shape with a detailed base and a gently widened rim. This one is named as a juice glass on the listing, and Bormioli says it nests securely to cut cabinet clutter. If your glasses live on one narrow shelf, that alone can make the decision.
The listing says it is made in Spain from tempered glass that resists thermal shock, chipping and breakage, and that it goes in the dishwasher. As with any tempered glass, those are the maker’s claims about resistance and not a promise that it can’t break. We have not used these and found no independent review we could read for this size.
A set of four is small for a family. Bormioli also sells this glass as a set of 12 under another listing, if you need more. We chose the smaller box because a home kitchen can start with four and see how it likes the shape.
Why we like it
- Named as a juice glass by the listing
- Stacks securely to save shelf space
- Tempered glass
- Dishwasher safe per the listing
Key specifications

Why we recommend it
It suits a small kitchen or a couple who want a neat stack of glasses with a little more character than a plain tumbler.
Skip it if you need to set a table for six or more, since the set is only four glasses.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Stacks
- Stated tempered glass
- Bistro look
Cons
- Only four in the box
- Height not stated
- Sold by a third-party seller at the time of writing
4. Duralex Picardie Marine Tumblers, 7.75 oz, Set of 6 – The Classic Shape in Blue

Picardie is the other famous Duralex shape: straight at the bottom, flared with a band at the top. This listing is the Marine blue version, and it gives a table some color without any painted decoration. Orange juice in a blue glass looks darker than in a clear one, though, so choose this for looks and not to show off the juice.
The listing covers the same claims as the Gigogne: made in France, tempered, rated from -4 to 266 degrees Fahrenheit, freezer, microwave and dishwasher safe, and stackable. It also says it is free of lead and cadmium and BPA free. Tasting Table’s report on Consumer Reports names Le Picardie as well, without saying which size or color, so it does not speak directly to this blue set.
We list this as a separate pick from the Gigogne because the shape holds and stacks differently, and because a blue glass is a different purchase. If you want only one Duralex set, buy whichever shape you like.
Why we like it
- Colored glass with no painted decoration on the listing
- Listing says free of lead and cadmium
- Same stated temperature range as the Gigogne
- Stacks
Key specifications
| Model | 1026BB06/6 |
|---|---|

| Capacity | 7.75 oz |

| Stacks | Yes |
Why we recommend it
It suits anyone who wants a colored juice glass for the table and doesn’t want to give up a tempered, stackable design.
Skip it if you like to see the color of what you are drinking, since the blue tints the view.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Adds color to the table
- Stated tempered glass
- Stacks
Cons
- Tints the drink
- Dimensions not stated
- Sold by a third-party seller at the time of writing
5. Arcoroc Iceland Tumblers, 6.8 oz, Set of 6 – A Plain Professional Glass

Arcoroc is the professional line from the French group Arc, and this is a straight-sided glass from its bar range. At 20 centiliters, which the listing gives as 6.8 ounces, it sits between the Libbey and the Duralex glasses in size. It is a good shape for juice if you dislike a heavy base or a faceted side.
The listing says it is made in France, built to handle high-pressure professional dishwashers and shock resistant, and that it is packed in reinforced boxes for shipping. Those are maker statements. It is a set of six meant for home or trade use, not a restaurant case.
One practical note: when we checked, the seller shown was Amazon Germany. Check the arrival date before you buy, because it may take longer than a domestic order.
Why we like it
- Straight sides that are easy to wash and fill
- Rated by the maker for professional dishwashers
- Made in France
- A size between small and medium
Key specifications
| Model | Q7940 |
|---|---|
| Material | Glass |

Why we recommend it
It suits someone who wants a plain, modern glass and runs the dishwasher every day.
Skip it if you need the glasses this week, because of the overseas seller.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Simple shape
- Maker cites professional dishwashing
- Made in France
Cons
- Overseas seller at the time of writing
- Stacking not stated
- Dimensions not stated

6. Arcoroc Campus Tumblers, 220 ml, Set of 6 – Named for Water and Juice

The Campus is a simple tumbler that the listing says is meant for mineral water and fruit juice, so it is on this page on its own maker’s description. Arcoroc gives real numbers: 65 millimeters across, 97 tall, 169 grams each, with a 220-milliliter capacity filled to the brim.
Note the words filled to the brim. A brimful 220 milliliters is about 7.4 ounces, and a comfortable pour will be well under that. That makes it a fair juice size, and the small diameter should be easy to hold.
Beyond dishwasher use, the listing says little about glass type, so we don’t call it tempered. Like the Iceland, the seller shown when we checked was Amazon Germany, so look at the arrival date first.
Why we like it
- Listing names fruit juice as a use
- Exact height, diameter and weight given
- Dishwasher safe per the listing
- Six in the set
Key specifications
| Model | 13831 |
|---|---|
| Material | Glass |
| Capacity | 220 ml to the brim |
| Count | 6 |
| Size | 65 mm across, 97 mm tall |
| Dishwasher safe | Yes |
| Made in | Not stated |
| Stacks | Not stated |
Why we recommend it
It suits anyone who values stated measurements and wants a plain glass that will serve for juice at breakfast and water later on.
Skip it if you want a glass with a stated tempered build, because this listing doesn’t claim one.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Clear measurements
- Modest size
- Plain design
Cons
- Overseas seller at the time of writing
- Tempering not stated
- Capacity is to the brim
7. Glaver’s Juice Glasses, 7 oz, Set of 10 – The Most Glasses in a Box

Glaver’s is a smaller, Amazon-first brand, so we keep it low on this list and don’t lean on its broad claims. What it offers plainly is count: ten ribbed 7-ounce glasses, each 4 inches tall, in one box. That is the most on this page, which helps at a big family breakfast.
The seller says the glass is lead free and dishwasher safe. Those statements come from a seller’s listing with no named maker or certifier behind them, and we have seen no outside report on them. The glass is plain and undecorated, so what you are getting is simple, but you should read those claims as the seller’s own.
The listing does not say whether it stacks, so plan on shelf space for ten.
Why we like it
- Ten glasses in one set
- Ribbed sides
- Named as juice glasses by the listing
- A modest 7-ounce size
Key specifications
| Model | 197 |
|---|---|
| Material | Glass, seller says lead free |
| Capacity | 7 oz |
| Count | 10 |
| Size | 4 in tall |
| Dishwasher safe | Yes, per seller |
| Made in | Not stated |
| Stacks | Not stated |
Why we recommend it
It suits a large household or a host who wants plenty of matching small glasses without buying two boxes.
Skip it if you would rather pay for a known glassmaker’s details, in which case look at Libbey or Duralex above.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Largest count here
- Ribbed look
- Small size
Cons
- Thin brand with no independent review we could read
- Claims come only from the seller
- Stacking not stated
8. US Acrylic Optix Mini Plastic Glasses, 8 oz, Set of 8 – For the Patio and Small Hands

This one is not glass, and we say so plainly. It is on the page because plenty of people searching for juice glasses want something that won’t break on a patio or at a table with young children, and the listing calls these juice cups. They are eight plastic glasses in jewel tones, each 2.94 inches across and 4 inches tall.
The listing says they are made in the USA from BPA-free plastic, shatterproof, and top-rack dishwasher safe. That top-rack limit is a real difference from the glass sets above. Plastic can also pick up scratches over time in a way glass doesn’t.
Eight different colors make it easy for everyone to keep track of their own glass, which is the kind of small convenience a family table notices. For more kid-specific options, see our guide below.
Why we like it
- Shatterproof per the listing
- Eight colors
- Made in the USA per the listing
- Top-rack dishwasher safe
Key specifications
| Model | Not stated |
|---|---|
| Material | BPA-free plastic |
| Capacity | 8 oz |
| Count | 8 |
| Size | 2.94 in across, 4 in tall |
| Dishwasher safe | Top rack |
| Made in | USA |
| Stacks | Not stated |
Why we recommend it
It suits outdoor breakfasts, RVs and tables where a dropped glass is likely.
Skip it if you want real glass, since this is plastic and doesn’t feel the same.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Won’t shatter per the listing
- Made in USA
- Bright colors
Cons
- Plastic, not glass
- Top rack only
- May scratch over time
What to look for in a juice glass
Read the capacity before anything else
A traditional juice glass is small, and the listings on this page run from 5.5 to 8 ounces. Anything over about 10 ounces is a general drinking glass that happens to be sold with juice in the title. If you already own those, our glassware sets guide is the better place to look. Also check whether a capacity is to the brim, as Arcoroc’s Campus is, because you won’t pour that much.
Decide whether tempering matters to you
Duralex, Bormioli Rocco’s Rock Bar and Arcoroc’s Iceland all describe strength or shock resistance on their listings. Those are makers’ claims. Tempered glass can still break, and it tends to break into small pieces, so take care when clearing up. A plain small glass is fine if you are gentle with it.
Think about how they store
Small glasses get stacked or pushed to the back. Stacking is stated for both Duralex sets and the Rock Bar. The other listings don’t say, so assume you will need shelf room for the whole set.
Check the base and the shape
A short glass with a light base is easy to knock over. Libbey makes a point of its weighted base. Faceted and ribbed sides give a slightly better grip for wet hands, though that’s a matter of feel more than anything a maker can measure.
Look at who is selling it
We looked at the seller on each listing when we checked it. Libbey was sold by Amazon itself. The Arcoroc sets showed Amazon Germany, and several others showed third-party sellers. Check the arrival date and return terms on the set you pick, since those can change.

How we narrowed down these eight juice glasses
We started from Amazon listings and counted only sets in stock, sold new, and small enough to be a juice glass. We left out restaurant cases of 36 and 72, and anything we could not confirm was a small glass. We also left out listings that showed low stock. Libbey’s 11-ounce Vintage juice set is a nice-looking set, but it is too large for this page.
We searched for independent reviews, and most of what came back was thin or copied from elsewhere. The one report we could read and stand behind was Tasting Table’s August 2026 article by Amanda Berrill on Consumer Reports’ picks, which names two Duralex lines. Everything else here rests on the maker and listing details, and we have said so on each pick. We have not used these glasses and we state no prices.
We looked up each brand in CPSC’s recall database. Libbey Glass has past recalls for other items, including milk bottles and bourbon and cocktail glasses, and none of them names these juice glasses. We found no matches for Duralex, Bormioli, Arcoroc, Glaver’s or US Acrylic.
Juice glass questions, answered
What size is a juice glass?
There’s no fixed size. The small glasses on this page run from 5.5 to 8 ounces. Libbey’s is the smallest at 5.5 ounces, and that is the closest here to the small breakfast glass many people picture.
Are small glasses for juice different from water glasses?
Mostly in size. Arcoroc’s Campus is sold for both water and juice, and Duralex describes its tumblers for everything from water to soda and cocktails. Buy by the capacity you want.
Can juice glasses go in the dishwasher?
All eight sets here list dishwasher use, with the US Acrylic set limited to the top rack and the Glaver’s statement coming from the seller. Follow the care note for the set you buy.
Are these glasses lead-free?
Listings for Libbey and Duralex’s Picardie Marine say so, and Tasting Table reports the same claim for Duralex. Glaver’s says so too, but as a seller’s claim. Other listings here don’t mention it, so we don’t claim it for them. None of these is lead crystal or decorated glass.
What glass should I use for fresh-squeezed juice?
Anything small and clear shows off the color, and a short glass suits the small amount a few oranges give. If you are squeezing at home, our citrus juicer guide covers the tool itself.
What about glasses for children?
Follow the maker’s guidance for any set you buy for a child. The US Acrylic set is plastic and our guide to drinking glasses for kids looks at that question in more depth.

Our final pick for the breakfast table
For most kitchens, the Libbey Fruit Juice Glasses are the right size and the simplest buy. The Duralex Le Gigogne is the better choice if you want one glass for juice, coffee and water. If you are building out the morning table, our orange juice juicer guide is the next stop. And if you’d rather let someone else make breakfast or lunch, Julia’s is on Highway 6 in Houston: call to order.
