A portable pizza oven needs somewhere solid to sit. The patio table is usually the wrong place: Ooni, the best-known maker of these ovens, advises against glass, plastic and wooden tables for a pizza oven, and the heat an oven such as the Karu, which Ooni says reaches 950°F, sends out the front and sides is hard on anything nearby. What you want is a stable, level, heat-tolerant surface at a comfortable working height, with room beside the oven for a peel and a pizza.
Pizza oven tables range from the oven makers’ own stainless stations to general outdoor prep carts sold for ovens, griddles and grills. This guide compares the outdoor pizza oven tables worth buying, using what each maker states about size, load and fit, and says plainly when a detail is not given.

Quick verdict: the outdoor pizza oven table to buy
The best outdoor pizza oven table for most people is the Ooni Modular Table, Large: Ooni says it fits every Ooni oven, it has a stainless work surface with a stated 132-pound maximum load, and its lockable castors, peel hooks and tank shelf are built around a pizza night. For a smaller patio, choose the Ooni Medium; for a Gozney Dome, Gozney’s own Dome Gen 2 stand; and for the most prep space, the 48-inch Cuisinart Prep ‘n Cook table.
Below: the five standouts side by side, all nine reviewed, and how to match a table to your oven.

What a pizza oven asks of the table under it
A pizza oven is not a grill. It runs much hotter at the mouth, it is often heavy for its size, and you work at it constantly for a few minutes at a time: launching a pizza, turning it, pulling it out. That shapes what a good table needs.
First, the surface. Ooni’s table guidance says not to put a pizza oven on glass, which can crack or shatter from heat or weight, or on plastic, which can melt or deform from radiated heat, and it does not recommend wood, which can scorch or even ignite. Ooni’s own tables have stainless steel work surfaces, and Ooni describes stainless as a sturdy, fire-resistant surface. Ooni’s help center answer on oven surfaces is a little broader and lists metal, stone or wood as acceptable while ruling out glass, plastic and tablecloths, so read your oven’s manual for the final word. Every table on this page has a metal top or is a maker’s stand built for one oven.
Second, stability. Wheels are handy, but the table must stay put when you push a peel into the oven. Look for lockable castors, or fixed feet on two of the legs, and set the table on level ground. Third, size and weight: the top must take the oven’s footprint and its weight, ideally with a stated load rating, and leave room beside it for the peel and a cutting board.

Our picks for the best outdoor pizza oven table
Nine tables and stands: the two Ooni modular tables, two Gozney stands, Ninja’s stand for its Woodfire oven, and four general outdoor carts sold for pizza ovens. Where a maker does not state a load capacity, the review says so.
1. Ooni Modular Table, Large – The Oven Maker’s Own Table for Any Ooni

Ooni makes this table for its own ovens, and Ooni’s product page says the Large is compatible with all of them, including the 16-inch models. The listing gives the size as 31 x 31 x 35 inches. The work surface is stainless steel, and Ooni gives the frame as powder-coated steel (its page calls it carbon steel in one place and mild steel in another). Ooni’s page states a maximum load of 132 pounds and a table weight of 57 pounds.
The layout is built around how a pizza night runs. Two height-adjustable shelves sit under the top for dough boxes and ingredients, a propane tank fits on the lower shelf for gas ovens, and built-in hooks hold peels and other tools. Two lockable castors let you roll the table into place and then hold it still while you cook.
The table is also modular. Ooni says two or more tables can be joined, and it sells extras for its outdoor kitchen range, so a single table can grow into a longer station later. Square 31-inch sides leave room for the oven plus a landing spot for the peel, which a narrower cart may not.
Why we like it
- Ooni says it fits every Ooni oven
- Stated 132 lb maximum load
- Peel hooks and propane tank shelf
- Join tables together later
Key specifications
| Brand | Ooni (model UU-P2F100) |
|---|---|
| Size (stated) | 31 x 31 x 35 in |
| Work surface | Stainless steel |
| Frame | Powder-coated steel |
| Max load (stated) | 132 lb (Ooni) |
| Table weight | 57 lb (Ooni) |
| Wheels | 2 lockable castors |
| Fits | All Ooni ovens, per Ooni |
Why we recommend it
Buy it if you own an Ooni, especially a 16-inch Koda or Karu, or plan to step up to one. It is the only table here whose maker states it fits the whole Ooni range.
Skip it if your patio is tight; the Medium below is 8 inches shallower, and a narrow cart takes up less floor.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Made by the oven maker
- Square top leaves room for the peel
- Expandable
Cons
- Bulky on a small patio
- Only two of four legs on castors
2. Ooni Modular Table, Medium – The Same Table in a Shallower Footprint

The Medium is the same design as the Large with a shallower top. Ooni’s page lists it at 23 x 31 x 35 inches (the Amazon title gives 31 x 22 x 35), with a stated maximum load of 110 pounds and a table weight of 48.8 pounds. It has the same stainless work surface, the same two height-adjustable shelves and lockable castors, and the same hooks for peels.
Compatibility is where it differs. Ooni lists the Medium for its 12-, 14- and 16-inch ovens, naming the Koda 12, Koda 2, Koda 16, Karu 12, Karu 2, Karu 16, Karu 2 Pro, Fyra and Volt 12, and says it is not compatible with the Koda 2 Pro or Koda 2 Max. If you own one of those two larger ovens, buy the Large.
On a balcony or a small Houston patio, those 8 fewer inches of depth make a real difference to how much space is left for chairs. You give up some landing room beside the oven, so plan where the peel and the finished pizza will go.
Why we like it
- Same build as the Large, less depth
- Ooni lists the ovens it fits
- Stated 110 lb maximum load
- Lockable castors and peel hooks
Key specifications
| Brand | Ooni (part UU-P2F000) |
|---|---|
| Size (stated) | 23 x 31 x 35 in (Ooni) |
| Work surface | Stainless steel |
| Frame | Powder-coated steel |
| Max load (stated) | 110 lb (Ooni) |
| Table weight | 48.8 lb (Ooni) |
| Wheels | 2 lockable castors |
| Fits | 12-16 in Ooni ovens; not Koda 2 Pro or Koda 2 Max |
Why we recommend it
Choose it if you have a 12- to 16-inch Ooni oven and limited floor space.
Skip it if you own a Koda 2 Pro or Koda 2 Max, which Ooni says it does not fit, or if you want a lot of prep space beside the oven.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Smaller footprint
- Clear compatibility list
- Expandable like the Large
Cons
- Less landing room for the peel
- Not for Ooni’s biggest gas ovens
3. Gozney Dome Gen 2 Stand – A Wide Stand With Fold-Out Wings for the Dome

Gozney’s Dome is a heavy, freestanding-style oven, and Gozney sells a stand made for it. The listing says this one is designed for the Dome (Gen 2) and Dome XL (Gen 2), and tells buyers to check their oven before ordering. It stands 40 inches tall and opens to 70 inches wide with its wings out, folding to 29.5 inches across.
The wings are adjustable bamboo, giving you space on both sides of the oven for dough, toppings and tools. A second platform underneath holds ingredients, and a built-in platform holds a gas tank out of the way. The frame has powder-coated steel legs with aluminum cross beams, and the stand rolls on four large castors with press-down foot brakes.
Gozney’s advice in the listing is to build the stand in front of where the oven will live. That is sensible: a Dome is not something you want to lift onto a stand twice. The listing does not give a weight capacity, so check the Dome’s own manual for how it should be supported.
Why we like it
- Made by Gozney for the Dome Gen 2 range
- Fold-out bamboo wings on both sides
- Four castors with foot brakes
- Gas tank platform
Key specifications
| Brand | Gozney (model AM1985) |
|---|---|
| Size (stated) | 40 in tall; 70 in wide open, 29.5 in closed |
| Work surface | Oven platform plus bamboo wings |
| Frame | Powder-coated steel legs, aluminum cross beams |
| Max load (stated) | Not stated |
| Wheels | 4 castors with foot brakes |
| Fits | Dome Gen 2 and Dome XL Gen 2, per the listing |
Why we recommend it
Buy it if you own, or are buying, a Gozney Dome Gen 2 or Dome XL Gen 2. A maker’s stand takes the guesswork out of supporting a heavy oven.
Skip it for any other oven. It is built around the Dome, and a general table will suit a portable oven better.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Purpose-built by the oven maker
- Lots of side space with wings open
- Braked castors
Cons
- Fits only the Dome Gen 2 range
- Wood wings need weather care
- Load capacity not stated

4. Royal Gourmet PC3404S 3-Shelf Grill Table – A Stainless Top and Three Shelves for a Portable Oven

Royal Gourmet is a grill maker, and this cart is sold as a table for pizza ovens, portable grills and griddles. The listing gives a 34 x 20-inch stainless steel top that supports up to 77 pounds, a mesh middle shelf rated for 44 pounds and a bottom shelf rated for 55 pounds, for 176 pounds in total. Most portable pizza ovens weigh well under that top-shelf figure, but check your oven’s weight against the 77-pound limit.
The middle shelf has raised edges so plates and tools do not slide off, and the mesh lets rain drain through. Four S-hooks hold tools, a wire side rack holds spices or paper towels, and a removable trash bag holder keeps scraps in one place. There is a bottle opener on the frame.
It moves on two directional wheels with a side handle, and stands on two fixed feet. That arrangement is steadier than four casters while you cook, but you tilt it to move it. Royal Gourmet states a one-year limited warranty on all parts.
Why we like it
- Stainless top with stated shelf-by-shelf limits
- Three tiers including a mesh shelf
- Trash bag holder and tool hooks
- One-year limited warranty on parts
Key specifications
| Brand | Royal Gourmet (model PC3404S) |
|---|---|
| Top (stated) | 34 x 20 in stainless steel |
| Shelves | 3 |
| Load (stated) | Top 77 lb, middle 44 lb, bottom 55 lb |
| Wheels | 2 directional wheels, 2 fixed feet |
| Extras | 4 S-hooks, side rack, trash bag holder, bottle opener |
| Warranty (stated) | 1-year limited, all parts |
Why we recommend it
It suits owners of 12-inch portable ovens who want a stainless top and more storage than the oven makers’ own tables give.
Skip it if you need to roll the table every day; two wheels and two feet mean tilting it each time.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Shelf loads stated individually
- Lots of storage
- Warranty stated
Cons
- Must be tilted to move
- Top smaller than Ooni’s Large
5. Cuisinart Prep ‘n Cook Outdoor Table, CPT-2150 – A Long 48-Inch Top With a Fold-Down Prep Side

Most pizza oven carts give you room for the oven and little else. This Cuisinart table is 48 x 24 inches, and the listing describes it as split into two halves: one side takes a grill, griddle or pizza oven up to 24 x 24 inches, and the other is a stainless prep surface. That is enough space to stretch dough, dress a pizza and land it beside the oven.
The prep side folds down and the table has built-in wheels, so it stores in less space than its full width suggests. A foldaway caddy holds sauces and spices, and there is an integrated trash bag holder. Cuisinart says the stainless surface resists stains and is easy to clean.
The listing does not give a load rating. Before setting a heavy oven on it, check that the oven’s footprint and weight suit a folding table; the stated 24 x 24-inch limit for the cooking side is the useful number here.
Why we like it
- 48 x 24 in total stainless top
- Separate prep side folds down
- Built-in wheels
- Spice caddy and trash bag holder
Key specifications
| Brand | Cuisinart (model CPT-2150) |
|---|---|
| Top (stated) | 48 x 24 in stainless steel |
| Cooking side (stated) | Up to a 24 x 24 in grill or oven |
| Load (stated) | Not stated |
| Wheels | Built-in wheels |
| Folding | Prep side folds down |
| Extras | Foldaway caddy, trash bag holder |
Why we recommend it
Choose it if you make pizzas from scratch outside and want the oven and a prep counter on one piece of furniture.
Skip it for a heavy oven, since no load rating is stated, or if you want closed storage underneath.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Most prep space here
- Folds smaller to store
- Wheels built in
Cons
- No stated load rating
- Little shelf storage below
6. Gas One Stainless Steel Grill Table, T-200S – Three Tiers, a Side Shelf and a Propane Tank Holder

Gas One is better known for camp stoves and burners, and this is its rolling outdoor table. The listing gives the overall size as 44.5 x 19.75 x 31.75 inches, which includes a matching side shelf for extra space beside the oven. It is described as heavy-duty stainless steel with three tiers of storage.
For a gas-fired pizza oven the propane tank holder is the useful detail: the tank sits on the table, not on the ground beside it. There are also utensil hooks, a magnetic holder for tools, a trash bag hanger and a bottle opener. The table has wheels and a handle to move it around.
Gas One names pizza ovens, griddles and portable grills as uses. It does not give a weight capacity, so compare your oven’s weight and footprint with the top before buying.
Why we like it
- Stainless construction, per the listing
- Side shelf adds space next to the oven
- Propane tank holder
- Magnetic tool holder and hooks
Key specifications
| Brand | Gas One (model T-200S) |
|---|---|
| Size (stated) | 44.5 x 19.75 x 31.75 in |
| Material (stated) | Stainless steel |
| Tiers | 3, plus side shelf |
| Load (stated) | Not stated |
| Wheels | Yes, with handle |
| Extras | Tank holder, hooks, magnetic holder, trash bag hanger |
Why we recommend it
It suits a propane pizza oven such as a Koda, where keeping the tank and hose tidy on the table is a real advantage.
Skip it if you want a stated load rating; the listing does not give one.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Side shelf for toppings
- Tank holder for gas ovens
- Stainless build
Cons
- Load capacity not stated
- Top depth under 20 in

7. BIG HORN OUTDOORS Grill Cart, 48.4 x 24 in – The Highest Stated Load Capacity Here

Big Horn Outdoors makes portable pizza ovens, and this cart is sold for its own ovens and infrared grill as well as Ooni, Gozney and Ninja ovens. The listing gives a stainless steel top on a steel frame with an anti-rust powder coating, an integrated extension shelf for toppings and tools, and an overall size of 48.4 x 24 x 35.2 inches.
Big Horn says the cart supports up to 220 pounds, the highest figure stated by any table on this page. It rolls on four lockable wheels, which makes it easier to move than a two-wheel cart, and the bottom board is rated to hold a 20-pound gas cylinder. Three tiers of storage, three hooks, a paper towel holder and a bottle opener round it out.
It is a wide cart. With the extension shelf, it needs more patio space than the Ooni Medium or the Royal Gourmet, but that width is what gives you room to work.
Why we like it
- Stated 220 lb capacity
- Four lockable wheels
- Extension shelf for prep
- Room for a 20 lb tank
Key specifications
| Brand | BIG HORN OUTDOORS (model SRCPS25044) |
|---|---|
| Size (stated) | 48.4 x 24 x 35.2 in |
| Top | Stainless steel |
| Frame | Powder-coated steel |
| Load (stated) | Up to 220 lb |
| Wheels | 4 lockable |
| Extras | Extension shelf, 3 hooks, towel holder, bottle opener |
Why we recommend it
Choose it for a heavier oven, or if you want to keep the oven, toppings and tank on one rolling cart.
Skip it if floor space is tight; at over 48 inches long it is one of the biggest tables here.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Highest stated load
- Four locking wheels
- Generous width
Cons
- Large footprint
- Load figure is the maker’s claim
8. Ninja Woodfire Collapsible Outdoor Stand, XSKSTAND – A Locking Stand for the Ninja Woodfire Oven

Ninja’s Woodfire Oven (model OO101) is an electric oven that adds wood-pellet smoke, and Ninja sells this stand for it and for its Woodfire grills. The listing says the stand is built to fit only Ninja’s OG700, OG300 and OO101 series, and that a lock-in mechanism holds the appliance in place for a stable cooking surface. It measures 23 x 32 x 30 inches.
The legs collapse for storage in a garage or car, and the stand rolls on large, durable wheels. Ninja describes it as weather-resistant. Three side hooks hold tools. There is no prep surface or shelf to speak of: this is a stand, not a work table, so plan a separate spot for dough and toppings.
If you are still choosing an oven, the Ninja Woodfire is one of the ovens reviewed in our guide to the best pizza oven.
Why we like it
- Made by Ninja for its Woodfire oven
- Oven locks into the frame
- Folds flat to store
- Large wheels
Key specifications
| Brand | Ninja (model XSKSTAND) |
|---|---|
| Size (stated) | 23 x 32 x 30 in |
| Fits (stated) | Ninja OG700, OG300 and OO101 series only |
| Load (stated) | Not stated |
| Wheels | Large wheels |
| Folding | Collapsible legs |
| Extras | 3 side hooks |
Why we recommend it
Buy it if you own a Ninja Woodfire Oven and want it at a comfortable height that you can fold away afterward.
Skip it for any other brand; Ninja says it fits only its own Woodfire models. It also gives you no prep space.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Secure fit for Ninja ovens
- Collapses for storage
- Easy to roll
Cons
- Ninja-only
- No prep surface
9. Gozney Venture Stand for Tread – Telescoping Legs for a Portable Oven

Not every pizza oven lives on a patio. Gozney’s Tread is a portable oven, and this stand is its legs. The listing describes aluminum telescoping legs, each adjustable on its own for uneven ground, and two heights: 28 inches at the shortest setting and 45 inches at the tallest. A built-in level helps you set the oven flat.
Gozney says no assembly is needed: pull out the legs and attach the Tread. The stand is designed to keep weight low for travel, and the listing suggests rotating the oven away from the wind, which is good practice with any portable oven at a campsite or tailgate.
One caution: the Amazon listing’s compatibility line calls the product a cover, an obvious copy error, while the title and the rest of the listing describe a stand for the Tread oven. It fits the Tread only.
Why we like it
- Each leg adjusts for uneven ground
- Two heights, 28 or 45 in
- Built-in level
- No assembly
Key specifications
| Brand | Gozney (model AT1900) |
|---|---|
| Height (stated) | 28 in or 45 in |
| Legs | Aluminum, telescoping |
| Fits | Gozney Tread oven |
| Load (stated) | Not stated |
| Extras | Built-in level |
Why we recommend it
It suits Tread owners who cook at campsites, tailgates or on uneven ground.
Skip it if your oven stays at home, or if you own anything other than a Tread; a table gives you prep space, which this does not.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Light and portable
- Levels on rough ground
- Ready out of the box
Cons
- Tread only
- No prep surface
- Listing has a copy error
How to choose an outdoor pizza oven table
Start with the oven you own, then the space you have. Five questions sort the choices quickly.
1. Does the maker say it fits your oven?
Oven makers’ own tables and stands remove the guesswork. Ooni says its Large table fits every Ooni oven and lists the ovens the Medium fits; Gozney’s stands are made for the Dome Gen 2 and the Tread; Ninja’s stand fits only its Woodfire models. General carts from Royal Gourmet, Cuisinart, Gas One and Big Horn Outdoors are sold for most portable ovens, so measure the oven’s feet and footprint against the top.
2. Is the load rating stated, and is it enough?
Ooni states 132 pounds for its Large table and 110 for the Medium, Royal Gourmet states 77 pounds for its top shelf, and Big Horn states 220 pounds for its cart. Cuisinart, Gas One, Gozney and Ninja do not give a figure in their listings. A 12-inch portable oven is usually light enough for any of these, but a 16-inch or dome oven is a different matter: check your oven’s weight in its manual.
3. Room beside the oven
Pizza moves fast. You need a spot to land the peel, slice and plate the pizza without walking across the patio. The Cuisinart’s 48-inch top and the Big Horn’s extension shelf give you the most; Gozney’s Dome stand has fold-out wings. If your table is small, a second prep table or a grill cart beside it does the same job.
4. Wheels and stability
Four lockable castors (Big Horn, Gozney Dome) or two lockable castors (Ooni) make a table easy to roll into place and hold. Two wheels plus two fixed feet (Royal Gourmet) are steady but must be tilted to move. Set any table on level ground before lighting the oven.
5. Weather and storage
Stainless tops resist rust, but powder-coated frames and wooden wings need care. In a humid climate like Houston’s, a cover helps: Ooni sells covers sized for its ovens and tables together. Folding stands, such as Ninja’s and Gozney’s Venture, can be stored in a garage between cooks.

Setting up the table safely
The oven’s manual is the authority, and every maker’s warnings differ slightly. These points come from Ooni’s guidance and the oven makers’ listings above:
- Use the oven outdoors only. Ooni’s Karu manual says not to use its oven in a confined or habitable space such as a house, tent, caravan, motor home or boat, because of the danger of fatal carbon monoxide poisoning.
- Put the oven on a stable, level surface that suits the heat. Ooni advises against glass, plastic and wooden tables and recommends its stainless tables; check your own oven’s manual for clearance distances from walls, fences and overhangs.
- Lock the castors or wheel brakes before you light the oven, and do not move the table while the oven is hot.
- For gas ovens, keep the propane tank on the shelf or holder the table provides, with the hose clear of the oven body, and follow the oven manual’s gas instructions.
- Do not put anything flammable, such as a tablecloth or paper towels, on the table next to the oven. Ooni’s help center rules out tablecloths under its ovens.
How we chose these nine tables
We started from what a kitchen asks of a station: a hot appliance that stays put, a clean surface, and room to work. We read Ooni’s product pages for its Large and Medium tables, Ooni’s guidance on which table materials to avoid, and its help center answer on oven surfaces. We then searched Amazon in the United States for pizza oven tables and stands from identifiable makers, checked every product’s stock with Amazon’s product data, and took the remaining specifications from each brand’s Amazon listing. We left out unbranded and look-alike carts and products down to their last few units, and we skipped carts already reviewed in our grill cart guide. We have not used these tables for this guide, and we did not rely on any review site’s rankings.
Pizza oven table questions, answered
Can I put a pizza oven on a wooden or glass patio table?
Ooni advises against glass, which can crack or shatter from heat or weight, and does not recommend wood, which can scorch or ignite. It also rules out plastic tables. A stainless top made for the job is the safe choice.
How big should a pizza oven table be?
Big enough for the oven’s footprint plus room to land a peel. The Ooni Large is 31 x 31 inches, the Medium 23 x 31; for more prep space, the Cuisinart Prep ‘n Cook is 48 x 24 inches.
What height should it be?
Around kitchen-counter height is comfortable for launching pizzas. The Ooni tables are 35 inches tall, the Big Horn cart 35.2 inches and Gozney’s Dome stand 40 inches; Gozney’s Venture stand adjusts between 28 and 45 inches.
Does a grill cart work as a pizza oven table?
Often, yes, if the top is metal, the cart is stable and it carries the oven’s weight. Royal Gourmet, Gas One and Big Horn sell their carts for both. See our guide to outdoor grill carts for more.
Where do I keep the peel and tools?
Most tables here have hooks. A turning peel and a launching peel live best on hooks by the oven; our guide to the best pizza oven peel compares them.
Our choice for a backyard pizza station
For an Ooni owner, the Ooni Modular Table, Large is the safest choice: it is made for the oven, has a stated load rating and is built around pizza night. On a small patio, take the Medium. Gozney Dome owners should buy Gozney’s own stand, and anyone who wants a full prep counter beside the oven should look at the Cuisinart. For the oven itself, see our guide to the best pizza oven, and keep an infrared thermometer on the table to check the stone before each pizza.
And if you would rather someone else made dinner tonight, see the menu or call to order.
