An 11-inch fry pan is the in-between size that a lot of home cooks end up using most. It holds three or four eggs, a pair of quesadillas or a pound of ground beef for tacos without the crowding of a 10-inch pan, and it still fits a standard home burner, where a 12-inch pan often runs cool at the edges. It is also lighter to lift one-handed when it is full.
The size is less common than 10 or 12 inches, so the choice on Amazon is narrower and leans toward European makers, who size pans in centimeters: an 11-inch pan is usually a 28 cm pan. This guide covers only true 11-inch nonstick fry pans and skillets that were in stock when we checked. For nonstick pans of every size, start with our main guide to the best nonstick pans.

Quick verdict: which 11-inch nonstick pan to buy
For most kitchens, the Le Creuset Toughened Nonstick PRO 11-inch Fry Pan is the one to buy: a textured, triple-reinforced coating that Le Creuset says helps browning, a hard-anodized body that works on every cooktop, a 500°F oven rating, and a listing that allows the dishwasher and metal utensils. If you want clad stainless instead, the Scanpan CS+ 11-inch Skillet is made in Denmark and works on induction. If you want a ceramic coating, choose the SENSARTE 11-inch Ceramic Frying Pan.
The rest of the page explains why, and which of the eight pans below suits your stove, your budget and how you cook.

Our picks for the best 11 inch nonstick fry pan
These eight pans cover the ways people use an 11-inch skillet: everyday eggs and quesadillas, searing on induction, finishing in the oven, restaurant-style daily abuse, and a ceramic option for cooks who avoid PTFE. One is a different size of a pan in our main nonstick guide: the Le Creuset, which we recommend there at 10 inches. We include the 11-inch because Le Creuset sells it as its own model and it is the strongest 11-inch pan we found. Every pan was in stock on Amazon when we checked.
1. Le Creuset Toughened Nonstick PRO 11-inch Fry Pan – Textured Surface That Browns

Le Creuset is better known for enameled cast iron, but its Toughened Nonstick PRO line is a straightforward, well-built aluminum pan. The body is hard-anodized aluminum, which Le Creuset says heats quickly and evenly, and the interior is a triple-reinforced coating that the listing calls four times stronger than before. Retailers describe the coating as PFOA-free.
The interior is textured rather than glassy smooth. Le Creuset says that texture promotes browning and searing while still wiping clean, which matters if the pan is going to see chorizo and potatoes as well as eggs. The listing says the pan is safe for metal utensils and the dishwasher, works on all cooktops and is oven safe to 500°F. A glass lid is sold separately and is rated to 425°F.
At 11 inches the pan is sized for two to four people, and Le Creuset backs it with a limited lifetime warranty. Retailer listings give its origin as China.
Why we like it
- Textured surface that Le Creuset says helps browning.
- Works on all cooktops, per the listing.
- Oven safe to 500°F.
- Dishwasher and metal-utensil safe, per the listing.
Key specifications
| Model | TNSP2200-28 |

| Body | Hard-anodized aluminum |
| Stovetops | All cooktops |

| Lid included | No (sold separately) |
Why we recommend it
It suits most home cooks who want one mid-size nonstick pan that browns food well, goes in the oven and handles metal tools.
Skip it if you want clad stainless or a pan made in Europe; the Scanpan is the closer fit.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Browns better than a smooth coating, per Le Creuset
- Every cooktop, high oven rating
- Limited lifetime warranty
Cons
- No lid in the box
- Le Creuset does not name the coating chemistry on the listing
2. Scanpan CS+ 11-inch Skillet – Clad Stainless, Made in Denmark

Scanpan’s CS+ is a five-ply stainless-clad aluminum pan with Scanpan’s commercial-grade Stratanium+ coating. Clad construction is what you find in high-end stainless pans, and Scanpan says it heats quickly and spreads heat evenly across the whole surface. The stainless exterior also makes it induction ready.
The coating is micro-textured, and Scanpan says it sears with little or no oil and is fully safe for metal utensils. That makes the CS+ one of the few nonstick pans here you can treat a little more like a stainless skillet: browning chicken thighs, crisping fish skin, or toasting rice for Mexican rice before the broth goes in.
The listing rates the pan oven safe to 500°F and dishwasher safe. It is made in Denmark and backed by a lifetime warranty, according to Scanpan. Scanpan sells it without a lid.
Why we like it
- Five-ply clad body, induction ready.
- Coating rated for metal utensils and searing, per Scanpan.
- Oven safe to 500°F; dishwasher safe.
- Made in Denmark with a lifetime warranty.

- Among the more expensive pans here
3. Hestan ProBond Luxe TITUM 11-inch Nonstick Skillet – Broiler Safe to 600°F

Hestan’s ProBond Luxe is the premium pan on this page. The body is tri-ply clad stainless steel with Hestan’s ProCore aluminum core, which Hestan says gives 35% better heat conductivity; the listing says the tri-ply is made in Italy. The exterior is mirror-polished, and the handle, designed with chef Thomas Keller, uses flush rivets so food does not collect around them.
The interior is Hestan’s TITUM nonstick. Retailers describe it as a five-layer system with three diamond-reinforced nonstick layers bonded to the steel, and one retailer’s product disclosure lists PTFE among its materials. The listing rates the pan dishwasher safe and oven and broiler safe to 600°F, the highest rating among the 11-inch pans we found, and says sealed rims prevent delamination.
It works on all cooktops, including induction. The design won a 2025 Red Dot product design award, according to the listing.
Why we like it
- Oven and broiler safe to 600°F, per the listing.
- Flush rivets with nothing to scrub around.
- Tri-ply clad body for induction and even heat.
- Dishwasher safe, with sealed rims.

Skip it if budget matters; this is the most expensive kind of pan on the page.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Highest oven rating here
- Flush-riveted handle
- Induction ready
Cons
- Premium price
- Polished exterior shows marks
4. T-fal Jamie Oliver 11-inch Stainless Nonstick Pan – Heat Indicator, Induction Base

This pan, from T-fal’s Jamie Oliver range, pairs a stainless steel body with T-fal’s nonstick coating, which the listing says is six times more resistant than T-fal’s basic coatings. The base is T-fal’s Thermo-Fusion induction base, which the listing says spreads heat evenly on all stovetops, including induction.
The most useful feature for everyday cooking is Thermo-Signal, T-fal’s heat indicator, which turns solid red when the pan is preheated. That takes the guesswork out of when to add eggs or tortillas, and it helps you avoid overheating a nonstick coating. The handle is cast stainless steel and riveted.
The listing rates the pan oven safe to 500°F and dishwasher safe, and T-fal states a limited lifetime warranty. Note that the pan arrives with the global Tefal logo rather than T-fal; the listing says this is the same brand.
Why we like it
- Thermo-Signal heat indicator shows when the pan is ready.
- Induction base for all stovetops.
- Oven safe to 500°F; dishwasher safe.
- Riveted cast stainless handle.
Key specifications
| Model | E3040644 |

| Dishwasher | Yes |

Skip it if you want to know exactly what the coating is made of; the listing does not say.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Heat indicator
- Induction ready
- High oven rating
Cons
- Coating chemistry not stated
- Arrives Tefal-branded, which can confuse
5. Winco 11-inch Stainless Nonstick Fry Pan – NSF Listed for Restaurant Use

Winco makes equipment for restaurant kitchens, and this pan is built for that work. The body is heavyweight 18/8 stainless steel, and a bonded stainless plate on the base makes it work on induction as well as gas and electric. Restaurant-supply listings describe a tri-ply bottom with an aluminum core and a depth of 2 inches. It is NSF listed, the food equipment certification commercial kitchens look for.
The interior is Excalibur, a reinforced nonstick finish that Winco says is bonded to the skillet for a long-lasting, scratch-resistant surface. Retailer listings are inconsistent about the coating’s chemistry, so we do not state it. The pan is dishwasher safe, per the listing.
The handle is a plain riveted metal handle with no silicone sleeve, so use a towel or sleeve when it is hot. Winco does not give an oven rating on the listing. What you get is a simple, sturdy pan at restaurant-supply prices, the kind that kitchens replace without fuss when it wears.
Why we like it
- NSF listed for commercial kitchens.
- Heavyweight 18/8 stainless body.
- Induction compatible, per the listing.
- Dishwasher safe.
Key specifications
| Model | SSFP-11NS |

- Built for restaurant use
- Induction ready
- Low cost
Cons
- Handle gets hot
- No oven rating or warranty detail on the listing

6. The Rock by Starfrit SOHO 11-inch Nonstick Fry Pan – Light Pan With a Thick Base

The Rock is Starfrit’s cookware line, and the SOHO pan is its everyday aluminum skillet. Starfrit’s ROCK.TEC process and aluminum alloy are designed to stop warping under high heat, according to the listing, and the base is 4.6 mm thick for even heating. The base works on gas, electric, ceramic and induction cooktops.
The coating is a three-layer PPG Quantum2 nonstick, which the listing says resists scratches, stains and cracks; the listing describes it as PFOA-free but does not say whether it contains PTFE. The handle is heat-resistant silicone that stays cool on the stovetop. The pan is dishwasher safe.
The weak point is the oven: the listing rates the pan only to 320°F, the lowest of any pan here. For a stovetop pan used mostly for eggs, quesadillas and sautéed vegetables, that rarely matters.
Why we like it
- 4.6 mm thick base, designed not to warp.
- Works on induction, per the listing.
- Stay-cool silicone handle.
- Dishwasher safe.
Key specifications
| Model | SOHO |
|---|---|

| Dishwasher | Yes |
| Lid included | No |
Why we recommend it

Skip it if you finish dishes in the oven; 320°F is too low for most.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Thick, warp-resistant base
- Cool silicone handle
- Induction ready
Cons
- Low oven rating
- Coating chemistry not stated
7. SENSARTE 11-inch Ceramic Frying Pan – PTFE-Free and Induction Ready

Ceramic 11-inch pans from major makers were either out of stock or already recommended elsewhere on our site, so the SENSARTE is our ceramic pick. The coating is ceramic, and SENSARTE states it is free of PFOA, PTFE, PFAS, lead and cadmium. The body is heavy-duty cast aluminum made from recycled aluminum, with an induction base that suits every stovetop.
The listing says the surface is smooth enough that eggs slide off with little oil, which is what ceramic does best when it is new. Like all ceramic coatings, it lasts longer at medium heat; SENSARTE recommends hand washing, and the rivet-free interior makes that quick.
The handle is bakelite with a woodgrain finish and stays cool on the stove. The listing says the pan is oven safe to 550°F only with the handle removed, so treat it as a stovetop pan.
Why we like it
- Ceramic coating; SENSARTE states it is free of PTFE, PFAS, lead and cadmium.
- Induction base for every stovetop.
- Rivet-free interior that wipes clean.
- Stay-cool bakelite handle.

Why we recommend it

Skip it if you want a pan that goes in the oven with its handle on.
Pros and cons
Pros
- PTFE-free ceramic
- Induction ready
- Easy to wipe clean
Cons
- Hand washing recommended
- Sold mainly through Amazon, with less maker information
8. HOMICHEF 11-inch Nonstick Frying Pan with Lid – Stainless Pan With a Vented Lid

If you want the lid in the box, the HOMICHEF is the 11-inch pan that includes one: a clear vented glass cover. The pan body is nickel-free stainless steel with a 5 mm three-ply base, an aluminum core between two stainless layers, which HOMICHEF says spreads and holds heat. It works on gas, induction, glass, ceramic and halogen cooktops.
The coating is Teflon Xtra, a PTFE nonstick, which HOMICHEF describes as PFOA-free and plated onto the steel to resist chipping and peeling. The handle is a non-riveted heat-resistant polypropylene handle, so there are no rivets inside the pan to clean around.
HOMICHEF does not give an oven rating, and a plastic handle generally rules out the oven. The company states a two-year product warranty.
Why we like it
- Vented glass lid included.
- Named PTFE coating (Teflon Xtra), per the listing.
- 5 mm three-ply base on a stainless body.
- Induction compatible.
Key specifications
| Model | 7017V |
|---|---|
| Size | 11-inch |

| Lid included | Yes, vented glass |
Why we recommend it
It suits a cook who wants an 11-inch nonstick pan and a lid in one purchase, for steaming eggs or melting cheese on the stovetop.
Skip it if you need an oven-safe pan; the plastic handle and missing rating rule it out.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Lid included
- Named PTFE coating
- Induction ready
Cons
- No oven rating
- Shorter warranty than the big makers
How to choose an 11-inch nonstick pan
An 11-inch pan is a compromise between a 10 and a 12, so the choice comes down to what you cook most and what stove you cook on.
1. Is 11 inches the right size?
Pan sizes are measured across the rim, so an 11-inch pan has a flat floor of roughly 8 to 9 inches. That suits three or four eggs, two quesadillas or a pound of ground meat. If you regularly cook for four or more, look at our best 12 inch frying pan guide; if you cook for one or two, a 10-inch pan from the best 10 non stick frying pan guide is lighter and heats more evenly.
2. Clad stainless or aluminum
Clad pans like the Scanpan and Hestan bond aluminum between stainless layers. They heat evenly, work on induction and resist warping, but they cost more and weigh more. Hard-anodized and cast aluminum pans like the Le Creuset, The Rock and SENSARTE heat quickly and are lighter in the hand.

3. Induction
Every pan on this page except the Le Creuset is described by its maker as induction ready, and Le Creuset says its pan works on all cooktops. If you cook on induction, check the listing before buying any pan.
4. PTFE or ceramic
Most pans here use PTFE-type nonstick, which keeps its release longest. The SENSARTE is ceramic, sold as PTFE-free, and needs gentler heat. For more PTFE-free options at every size, see our guide to the best nonstick pan without teflon.
5. Oven rating and handle
Oven ratings here run from 320°F (The Rock) to 600°F (Hestan). Pans with plastic, silicone or bakelite handles are rated low or not at all; all-stainless handles go highest. If you finish dishes in the oven, start with the Hestan, Le Creuset, Scanpan or T-fal.
How we picked these eight 11-inch pans
We started from what a working kitchen asks of a mid-size nonstick pan: easy release for eggs and cheese, even heat on a home burner, a handle that holds up, and a coating that lasts. We searched Amazon US for nonstick fry pans and skillets sized at 11 inches (28 cm), checked each one’s availability with the Amazon Creators API, and kept only in-stock pans from makers we could identify. Many 11-inch pans from well-known makers, including Swiss Diamond, de Buyer, Zwilling and Demeyere, were listed only in short supply when we checked, so we left them out. We also left out sets, woks and griddles, and pans already recommended in our related guides. Specifications come from each maker’s listing or website; where neither gives a figure, the table says “Not stated.” We searched the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission’s recall notices for these brands’ frying pans and found none for these pans. We have not cooked on these pans for this guide.
The best 11 inch nonstick fry pan: your questions
Why are 11-inch pans harder to find than 10 or 12-inch?
American makers tend to size pans at 8, 10 and 12 inches, while European makers work in centimeters, and their 28 cm pan converts to 11 inches. That is why most of the pans here come from European or professional ranges.
Is an 11-inch pan big enough for a family?
For three people, usually. For four or more, or for big batches of fajita vegetables, a 12-inch pan gives you more room without crowding.
Which 11-inch nonstick pan comes with a lid?
Of the pans here, only the HOMICHEF includes one. Le Creuset sells a matching glass lid separately. For more lidded options, mostly at other sizes, see our guide to the best nonstick pan with lid.
Can I use metal utensils on an 11-inch nonstick pan?
Le Creuset and Scanpan rate their pans for metal utensils. Even so, wood or silicone tools are gentler on any coating and help it last.

Our final word on 11-inch nonstick pans
For most kitchens, the Le Creuset Toughened Nonstick PRO is the 11-inch nonstick pan to buy: it browns well, works on every cooktop and goes in the oven and dishwasher. Choose the Scanpan CS+ for clad stainless made in Denmark, the Hestan for oven and broiler work, or the SENSARTE for ceramic. For nonstick pans of every size, see our best nonstick pans guide, or compare every material in the best frying pan roundup. And when the pan is hot and the tortillas are ready, our guide to how to eat fajitas takes it from there.
